Thinking everyone hates you
You become upset
But why do you feel such a way?
If I could do anything, it would be to embrace you tightly
And with the little strength I have, I could tell you all my love
But I'm just left here alone praying for you from afar
You don't really know, or choose not to notice
The small things in life are all lining up for you to see
You're loved so much more than you really know
Your talents are eclipsed by waves of self-hate
And yet again, your faith will waver
But don't let it stay down!
At times where you feel hurt, my heart also hurts
And I pray you can realize soon
The truth of life is that people don't always love you
But you need to find the ones that do...
and embrace them all the harder.
