Let the Birds Cry

For some reason

Every season

All the birds I see just want to cry

Even as time passes by

They're tired of living their lives, but they repeat them on and on

Until, one day, they'll sing one last song and then be gone

What impact have they left on the world? Absolutely none

So I don't want us to be like the birds, you're my number one

Hush, hush, let the birds cry

Think, think, about how you and I

Live our lives happily, be the happy person in someone's life

Brighten up their day full of strife

If all the birds want to do is cry

Let them cry until they die

They feel it's their purpose to sob and sob all day

We might as well stop trying so hard to take their grief away

Don't forget me, even in cold, isolating winters

Be careful, don't slip on the ice and get any splinters

I'm watching you, no matter if our distance is far

Because you're my sweet shining star

And even in the summer sun

Sometimes we forget and don't have any fun

But why are we together then, there's no reason

Again, the birds are crying, ruining my season

So, just tell me you'll be by my side

Even during the Yuletide

And I'll reward you with the birds stopping their tears

We'll be together for so many years

Because we let the birds cry

And let time go by

Our every wish will be fulfilled...

Just wait...
