Let's Stay Together!

I wish I could describe my emotions in words

But if I did, I'm afraid they wouldn't be enough to convey

Because of you, my heart is filled with such joy

It would break apart if it did not act

Let's stay together!

In a broken world, you're my angel

If I was to lose you, all my emotions

I'm sure they would break my body in two

Let's stay together!

Help each other to spread our wings and fly to that goal we have in life

Because I love you, my friend

A momentary separation feels like endless pain

You held my two hands when I needed you

Brought, to my suffering, endless balm

Now, whenever I see you crying, my tears come too

You mean so much to me, my angel, I can't let you go

When we embrace each other, my soul fills with courage

When you let me go, it all evaporates

I want to show you my true nature

But I'm afraid if I act like that, you'll judge me

Even if you judge me, I can't hold back any longer

If you want to know my true nature, promise you'll take care of me from now on

Let's stay together

So my emotions and words can be real

Even if this is a dream and you're just a figment of my imagination

And when I wake up, you're miles away from me, not even thinking of me

If my happiness can be yours too

I'll take care of you, too

We're connected by the heart

And the hope I have that we'll one day meet

Is what I think of every time I'm on the street

Until some strong force can sever our friendship forever

I take comfort that we will leave never
