Obsession

4 1 3

Crossing a foot in front of me
Dropping my blade behind my back
Your jewels for eyes look up into my two voids
And I smile a toothy smile.

Warm hands touching my back
Blood running down the blade
My cold hands pull the blade out
Your stomach is dripping onto the floor.

Serrated blades on my skin
Cuts all over my body
Your ghost haunts me with phantom pain
My heart is dropping to my feet.

Reaching out to caress your face
Cold replies, an endless festival of pain
My body is collapsing to the ground
Your arms hold me as I lose all life.

Obsession is neither noble nor beautiful
It destroys us all and ruins everything
Don't let it take you over
Just fight it.
