When she touched me
I could do nothing, so I blushed
When her hands caressed my body
I said nothing, I was hushedShe gently let me go
And gave me her most beautiful smile
And asked, "My love, are you alright?"
She told me she hadn't done this in a whileI was afraid she would see how shy I was
I was petrified she could see
It was spreading like an ugly blanket
All over me, covering, my insecurityI pushed her away
Ignored the tears in her eyes
She yelled at me then
Said I was a devil in disguiseI've never seen her again after that
My heart was broken by myself
Destroyed by my own awkward love
I make a promise signed in my tearsI will love no one else
Lost her by my awkward love
