In a flash
I am returned there
The place I did not want to be
With his voice in my ears
I return to darkness
Grating, endless, hideous
The words that he says to me are...
Nothing can describe them, not of this world
He soothes me with promises of help
Then throws me deeper in
I can't stand it anymore
But I can't jump in
He won't let me
My goal of life is only to live until I die
I have no goal but that; for I truly am
One of the most foolish of my family
Nobody really understands that I'm in pain
They cast cruel glances at me, unknowing
People are poison, they can never understand
I'm in more pain inside than I show outside
Welcome to my life right now
I know you would hate to stay
But before you leave, let me say
You ought to be careful how you treat me
This could be you in the future
Welcome to my life right now
Even if you leave my side
I'll remember you forever
As another one who was superior
You refuse to be welcomed
As I had expected, you hate me
Everyone on this world despises me
So I should not have expected you to love me
I hope you never collapse like I do
Stay rising tall forever; fly to the firmament
Place yourself firmly in the heavens
Watch those below with contempt in your eyes
So less than you...
But you were once them...
