The stars must have all the angels singing
And all the joys their voices must be bringing
From winter through all the months of the year
Their voices bring the stars so much cheer
Their pale white wings, they cleave the skies
The snow falls and they say their goodbyes
Dancing elegantly down to the earth
To announce a young prince's birth
The shepherds rush into the city
As the brightest star shines oh so pretty
To kneel down by the prince's side
Knowing the Holy Spirit in him does abide
The animals are silent as they stand near
Knowing that Jesus Christ is here
From the heavens, God smiles
Seeing his precious child
Come to earth through a human birth
To show the errant the correct way
The angels fly up with smiles gay
As the stars increase their light
And the heavenly hosts happily sing all night
As the angels sing
The stars light will bring
Eternally they speak the truth of Jesus, our king
Listen to the angel's voice
Worship God, make the choice
To live in harmony forever above
And be cloaked in endless love
