We get out of training and Chris drags me to the cafeteria. We get in line and get our food, then sit in our usual spots. Will points at me with a frown.

"Is that your sweater?" He asks and I look down with a blush.

"Oh.. uhm no." I answer and he raises his eyebrows in questioning. I shrug it off and begin eating my salad. My thoughts travel to four and I nervously pick at my fingers.

"Tris!" Someone exclaims and snaps in front of my face. My head snaps up and my eyes meet Uriah's.

"Sorry, hey." i say and turn around in my seat so I can look at him better.

"Hey. So tonight there's a party. You have to come." he states.

"No can do. Im trying to stay away from parties for now on." I reply.

"What do you mean 'for now on'? You were a partier before you came here?" He asks happily.

"Yea I guess you can say that." I reply with a shrug.

"You have to come. It'll be fun, I promise." he begs and I shake my head. Four and I are going to hang out and try to find my brother. I can't tell Uriah that though. I don't k ow how other trainees will react if they find out I'm talking to my instructor outside of training classes.

"No. I'd rather not." i reply.
"Maybe next time." I quickly add.
"Promise?" He asks and sticks his pinky out.
"Promise." I laugh and wrap my small pinky around his.

"Okay I'll see you later then." he replies and jogs back to his table. I smile and turn back to my salad. Christina raises her eyebrows at me and I shrug.
______________
There's a knock on my door and I slowly sit up on the couch. I make my way to the door and peak through the peep hole before unlocking it.

"Hey." four greets.
"Hi." I say with a smile. I open the door wider so he can come in. When he steps inside his eyes scan everything and he nods in approval.

"I gathered as much information as I could possibly find." He states and I shut the door. I motion for him to take a seat and when he does I sit next to him.

"What did you find?" I ask hesitantly. He grimaced and opens his laptop. After typing in his password he brings a file up. He gently puts the laptop in my lap and I take a deep breath as my eyes scan the bright screen.

"If you want I can just summarize the important stuff. I know it's tough to go over these type of things." he murmurs.

"Can you please?" I ask and avert my eyes from the screen. He nods and takes my hand in his. Which is actually very comforting.

"Your mom was one of the most skilled undercover agents. Your dad met her on a mission, he was actually the one talking through her earpiece the whole time. He was instructing her in what to do as she went into a mission. Together they were a power team. They worked together for years after that. Then your mother gave birth to your brother Caleb. They made the decision to move out of the FBI compound, they thought it was too dangerous for a child. They then had you a few years later, they kept you and Caleb away from this world. During one of their missions your mom almost died-"
"When?" I ask.
"January 21st-"
"2008." I finish for him. His eyebrows furrow with confusion and I bite my lip.

"I was seven. I remember.... I didn't know why she wasn't home for my birthday. My dad made up some story about her needing to go on a trip for work. When I use to look back I knew he was lying. When she came home a week later she had a slight limp." I explain and look down at my hands. He rubs my palm and I shake my head, trying to get the bad thoughts out of my head.

"Do you want me to keep going?" He asks and I nod my head in reply, not trusting my voice.

"After that, your parents talked to Myra. Her reports say that they started getting death threats. They were very literal, so they picked everything up and moved you guys closer to the Chicago headquarters. Myra had all of the research files on her computer. When she went off break today I downloaded them into this usb drive. Don't tell anyone that, that can possibly lead to me getting in trouble... But, they never found who was threatening them, it was just a waiting game before the person..."

"Killed them." I whisper and he grimaces at the word.

"I'm sorry." he murmurs.
"Its not like it's your fault." i reply.

"I'm still sorry. Losing two of your parents at the same time and your brother disappearing has to be hard." he says. I shrug and hold back the tears threatening to fall from my eyes.

"Do you want to hear a story?" He asks, trying to change the subject.
"What story?" I ask.
"My story." he offers and I smile slightly.
"If you want." I reply and he nods.

"My mom died when I was seven. When she died my father turned on me. He hates me because he sees my mom in me. Have you ever heard of Marcus Eaton?" He asks cautiously. My eyebrows furrow at the familiar name.

"I think so... I can't place where I've heard it though." I reply.

"He was my father... when I was ten he was taken into custody and charged with murdering a mass innocent people." he replies and my eyes widen in shock.

"Oh my god." I whisper in shock.
"Your parents are the ones that arrested him. But before that, when I was little, he use to use me as a punching bag. I was so young that i didn't really understand what was going on. When your parents saw me all beaten up, they brought me back to the headquarters. They said that I reminded them of their son, Caleb. After that they convinced Myra to watch after me until I was of age. They didn't want me going into a foster care system." he adds and I see the pained look in his eyes.

"I'm so sorry." i whisper. He shrugs and puts the emotionless look back on his face.

"It's not your fault." he replies, using my exact words. I quirk a smile and he smiles back.
