"Tris, the doctor says you can hear me... Please, wake up. I miss you so much. So does everybody else, they feel guilty for not getting to us sooner. Myra is especially freaking out, she thinks she could have stopped you." I murmur.

Tris lays in the white hospital bed. The sheets are firmly wrapped around her pale body. Her skin is nearly the same color as it, except for the yellowish bruises.

"Tris, I love you." I quietly whisper. Her hand stays limp in mine and I sigh in frustration. It's been two weeks and she still hasn't woken up. I guess she deserves to sleep for this long with all that she's been through. There's a knock on the door and Uriah enters the room.

"Hey, Chris and I are going to head back now. We'll be here tomorrow. You should clean up, eat something... shower." He says.

"I'm not leaving her side." I hoarsely grumble.

"Fine, here than." He replies and tosses me a backpack. I catch it with one hand and keep my other wrapped around Tris.

"Those are your clothes. The nurse said you could shower here. You don't want Tris to wake up and see how messed up you are... You have to be strong for her, we all do." He says with a soft look in his eyes. A forced smile works its way to my face. He's using the same tone he had when I first arrived at dauntless. He acts all goofy on the outside, but he's actually a pretty good guy on the inside.

"Okay. I will in a bit. Just let everyone else know how she's doing. I'll call you guys if there's anymore news." I reply with a nod. He leaves the room after saying good bye to Tris, and I look over at her once again.

"I'm going to go shower, so you don't pass out from my stench when you wake up." I quietly joke. I press a lingering kiss to her forehead, then stand up.

"I'll be right back." I repeat and gently out her hand back at her side. I grab the bag and quickly enter the bathroom.
________
I finish my shower within ten minutes, my mind is now clear of any foggy thoughts. I hear Tris' heart monitor speed up and quickly slip into my basketball shorts. I rush to her side and grip her hand again.

"Baby girl? Are you okay? Are you waking up?" I worriedly ask. Her hand lightly squeezes mine and I sigh in relief.

"I'm right here. Just open up those beautiful eyes of yours." I whisper and press a kiss to her nose. She squirms and brings a hand up to her eyes. She rubs at them, then rapidly blinks. Her eyebrows furrow and she cautiously looks around.

"What happened?" She groans in pain.

"Shh, I'm going to get the doctor. Don't move." I say and rush out of the room.

*Tris' POV*

Four comes back in the room, dragging the poor Doctor behind him. He releases the doctors coat and comes to my side.

"Thank god you're okay." He mumble and presses a kiss to my cheek. I grip on to his hand and he smiles brightly at me.

"What happened?" I ask with furrowed eyebrows.

"Dauntless got past the guards, they got us back." Four softly replies. I look down at my bruised wrists and wince.

"Is everyone okay? Where's Peter?" I worriedly ask.
"You're worried about Peter?" Four cautiously asks.
"Yes. Is he okay?" I repeat.

"He got shot in the arm. But he's all healed up." Four replies with a sigh. A relieved sigh levels my mouth and I look over at the doctor.

"So what's the damage?" I wince.

"Your wrists were pretty messed up. We needed to put a few stitches in them, but they're all healed up now. One of your ribs was fractured, multiple there were bruised. Stitches had to be placed in your forehead due to a long hash along the side of your eye." He smiles at me and then look at for, "Other than that your as healthy as a horse." The young doctor jokingly adds. Four glares at him and I rest my head on my pillows.
