"Four that's not possible." I panic. His eyes stay connected with mine and he rubs my stomach. So many emotions are swimming through his eyes, mostly worry.

"We slept together a month ago, Tris it's possible." He murmurs and takes my hand in his.

"No it's not! What erudite did to me... No fetus would be able to survive that!" I exclaim in shock.

"We don't know that for sure. The doctor asked that we come in within the next two hours. We should get ready." He states and stands up. My heart pounds against my chest and I follow his lead. He's trying to act like he isn't worried. But I know him well enough that he's mentally freaking out.

When were both dressed, he lifts me into his arms and cradles me to his chest. He stays silent and I do the same. My head rests against his chest and he rubs my lower back.

"I wouldn't run a fever if I were pregnant though." I mumble, rummaging through my thoughts. Trying to find anything to prove that I'm not pregnant.

"Shh, relax. We're going to get this settled in a few minutes." He reassures. I slowly nod and he carries me to the hospital side of dauntless. They immediately put me in a room and a nurse comes to take my blood.

"The doctor will be right in." The nurse says and then leaves the room. Tobias holds my hand and sits in the chair next to me. His knee bounces with anxiety and I stare at him.

"If I am pregnant-"
"I'll take care of both of you. Tris I love you and I'll love that baby just as much. I'm just worried with David still out there. So many threats live in our world. For gods sake were FBI agents, a baby isn't going to be safe here, we'll move if we have to. I'll do anything to keep you guys safe." He rants and stands up. He has so much passion in his eyes, it makes me smile.

"Let's just talk to the doctor." I sigh and he pecks my lips. He pulls me to the corner of the hospital bed and wraps his arms around me in a side hug. The doctor soon enters the room and four moves over.

"I'm just going to feel your stomach for a minute." The doctor smiles and presses her hand on to my belly. She pokes and probes my stomach, when she's finally done doing whatever it was she was doing, she pulls her gloves off.

"Ms. Prior, it seems that you just have a stomach flu. The blood work shows that you are not pregnant." The doctor smiles. A relieved sigh leaves my mouth and four rubs my knee.

"I'll prescribe some medication for the nausea. Just take it easy." The doctor adds as she types into her laptop.

"The pharmacy has been informed, your prescriptions should be done in a few hours." She smiles.

"Thank you so much." I whisper.

"You're very welcome." She laughs and closes her laptop. She stands up and shakes my hand before leaving the room.

"Let's get going. We can pick you up some soup." Four states and helps me off the exam table.

"I'm starving." I reply and let him lead me out of the room. We silently make our way to the cafeteria and he rubs his thumb over my knuckles.

After getting our dinner, we go back to our apartment. He sets the bag on the dining room table, then pulls me into a tight hug. He doesn't even need to speak for me to know what he's thinking. His hands travel to my waist and he lifts me on to the kitchen counter, keeping me in his warm embrace.

"I'm happy that you're not pregnant, but then I'm kind of bummed too." He softly admits.

"It's for the best." I quietly reply. He pulls his face out of my neck and stares me in the eyes. He looks sad, his eyebrows are furrowed in confusion and his mouth is turned down in a frown.

"You don't want kids?" He questions.

"I want kids... I'm just scared. Usually you're suppose to get married and have a solid job before you even consider having kids. Not only that, but were FBI agents, I'm scared that the same thing that happened to me, would happening our kid. I don't want them coming home from school one day, to find their parents slaughtered in the kitchen." I rant. He brushes the tears away from my eyes and kisses my nose.

"In the future, do you see us as a family?" He softly asks.

"Of course I do... Do you?" I hesitantly ask.

"I see us moving in to our first apartment together, one outside of dauntless. And I see the day I purpose to you, the day we get married. I see you waddling around with a huge belly, carrying out baby. I see everything our future holds." He replies with a sure look in his eyes. My cheeks heat up and he presses a kiss on to my lips.

"I love you." I quietly whisper.
"I love you too." He replies and turns towards our dinner. He opens the bag and hands me my bowl of soup.

"Now, let's get you feeling better so we can see that future through." He smiles causing a huge smile to work its way on to my face. Tobias wants to marry me, and have kids with me. The guy that opens up to very few people, just admitted that he wants a future with me. And with that, he just made me the happiest girl in the world.
