Cheers erupt around us and a smile breaks on to my face. Everyone from dauntless is here, and a few other people that we've met throughout our lives. People that have made differences in our lives.

Four's hand links wth mine and we enter the huge reception. It's the size of a ballroom, with the tables lining around the big dance floor. The cheers quiet down and we stop in the middle of the ballroom.

"I announce Mr. And Mrs. Eaton for their first dance." The dj softly states into the microphone. I stare up at four with a big smile and he wraps an arm around my waist. He tugs me until I'm pressed against him, and the music starts. My arms loop around his neck and we begin to slowly sway to the music. People coo around us and I block them out as I rest my cheek on Four's shoulder.

"You look so beautiful," he murmurs against my ear.
"You look pretty good yourself," I tease back. He chuckles and kisses my forehead. I hum in delight and let my eyes shut.

"You're so cute." He whispers under his breath. I stay silent and the dance soon comes to an end. Cheers erupt around us and the dance floor fills in with people. They're all rushing towards us to be the first to congratulate us.

Uriah is the first one to get to us. He lifts me off the ground and into a hug, which I happily return. Next, Zeke yanks me into a hug. I giggle and hug him back. Four protectively pulls me back to his side, an arm locks around my waist.

"Congrats, now I just have to wait for my goddaughter or godson." Uriah smirks at me. I roll my eyes and playfully smack his arm.

"I don't think that will happen for a while." I confidently reply. Four nods in agreement, a distant look in his eyes. Uriah and Zeke get taken away by Shauna and Marlene, all of them getting sweeped into the middle of the dance floor.

I tug four away from everyone and into the quiet hallway. He barely notices, he just pulls me into his arms.

"What's wrong?" I frown in confusion.

"Tris.... I think I just saw-"
"Tobias." An unfamiliar voice calls down the hallway. Four pulls away from me, his eyes wide with shock. I look for who the voice came from and frown at the lady in front of me.

She has shoulder length black hair and dark brown eyes. She short, she would be my height if I didn't have heels on.

"Four..." I cautiously whisper. His eyes are wide with shock, his mouth gaping open like a fish.

"Eveline." He finally murmurs. The name causes me to freeze.

Eveline is his mother. But his mother is dead. I stare at the lady in front of us. My eyes are probably just as wide as his.

"How are you here?" Tobias angrily snaps.

"Toby I-"
"Don't call me that. You're suppose to be dead. Marcus killed you over ten years ago. Why are you at my wedding?" He interrupts with an emotionless facade covering his face. I can tell what he's feeling though. His eyes say it all.

He's confused, hurt, maybe even scared at the lady standing before us. The lady who gave birth to him and died when he was eight. His mother.

"What are you doing at my wedding?" He weakly adds in.

"Toby, I'm right here. I'm not dead, what are you talking about? I came to see the girl that's going to be my daughter in law." She asks and takes a step towards us. Four quickly pulls me behind him, in a protective manner. I grip on to his forearm and peak over his shoulder. Her eyes connect with mine and I let out a small gasp.

"You died ten years ago." He spats at her, anger filled into his tone.

"No, sweetheart. Marcus sent me away. He told me that I couldn't be around you, that he would kill you if I got in contact-"
"I went to your funeral!" He angrily cuts her off. I rub his back to calm him down, it doesn't do much. His muscles are tense and his hands are balled up in fists.

"It was a closed casket." She says with a pleading look in her eyes. But she's not pleading with him, she's begging me with her eyes. Begging me for what though? To calm Tobias down? To let her stay for the reception?

I curiously gaze at her. Trying to put her together. Marcus was put away years ago. So why is she trying to come back into Tobias's life now? She's had multiple years to reconnect with him.

I openly speak my thoughts, "Why are you here now? You could have found Tobias a long time ago. What could you possibly want now?"

"I want my son back. I want to see his family grow." She quietly replies. I can basically hear his teeth grinding together, like he's trying not to say anything he'll regret.

"This is my wedding day. You will not mess this up... get out." He harshly orders. She tries to protest, but he cuts her off before she can even say anything, "You can't just reappear out of no where. Why didn't you find me nine years ago? Because now you want something. I'm not that gullible. Get out, and don't come back."

"Tob," I murmur so only he can hear. He twists his head to look at me and I slowly shake my head.

Maybe he's right. Maybe she does want something out of him. But she's still his mother. He needs to at least talk to her rationally.

"I would pay anything to speak to my mother one last time. Don't waste this opportunity." I quietly whisper to him. My eyes flicker to her, she looks broken at his previous words. His jaw clenches and I look back into his eyes. He knows I'm right.

"Fine... Give me your number. You need to leave my reception because you're not welcome here. But when I get back from my honeymoon, I'll call you and we can talk." Four forces out through clenched teeth. Eveline frantically nods her head and grabs a piece of paper out of her purse. She scribbles her number down and steps towards us. She hands it to me and I give her a reassuring smile.

She's afraid that he'll throw it out.

"I'll keep it safe." I assure her and fold the paper up. I shove it into my bra and a smile forms on her face.

"Thank you," she smiles.

"You have to go now. I want to get back to celebrating my marriage." Four states. Before she can say goodbye, he pulls me into the nearest bathroom. His arms wrap around my waist and he buries his face into my neck.

"Tobs," I murmur and rub his shoulders. He lets out a shaky breath and I kiss his cheek.

"Maybe we should postpone our honeymoon. Your mother is back and I think that's more important than-"
"We are not postponing our honeymoon. This is our day, we're going to celebrate ourselves. But we will be postponing all thoughts about Eveline.... I just want to think about us and our future." He softly interrupts. His face moves out from my neck and he places a kiss on my neck.

"Okay?" He questions.
"Okay." I sigh in agreement.
