My eyes scan the table I'm currently sitting at. Everyone has impassive looks on their faces, along with four. But deep in his blue eyes I can tell that he's worried. My hand tightens around his and he squeezes back.

"Everyone quiet, please!" Myra shouts over the chatter. Everyone immediately quiets down and turns to look at her.

"The murder of Natalie and Andrew Prior, has been carefully seen out. Some of my top agents have been paying close attention to every small detail in the case. Those agents are Uriah, Christina, Zeke, Four, Will, Marlene, and last but not least... Beatrice Prior, Andrew and Natalie's daughter." Myra states. Gasps rush around the room and some people look right at me. The people that don't know me look around the room with confusion.

"The team that was on the case... They found some valuable information. David Matthews may or may not be behind the murder of the Prior's. Half of us will be going down to Florida. We leave in the next three hours. That gives you enough time to pack your things and take an hour or so nap. You'll need it.... We'll be driving to Los Angeles, where the planes are waiting. We land in New Orleans, spend the night, then take off in the morning for Miami. Any questions?" Myra asks.

"What are we doing when we get there?" Someone shouts out and from the familiarity, I think it's Uriah.

"I've gotten confirmation from the other factions. They have agreed to let us invade erudite and find the information were looking for. They're backing us up." She hesitantly states. Small cheers erupt around the room and I smile towards four. He returns the smile and Myra dismisses everybody.

"Let's go pack our things." Four says and begins to lead me out of the room. We're quickly stopped when someone wraps their arms around me.

"I can't believe you didn't tell me!" Chris shouts as she squeezes me. A blush forms on my cheeks and people slow down to look at us.

"Chris, you're creating a scene." I whisper.

"Why didn't you tell me? I'm like your best friend!" She exclaims and pulls away with a hurt look on her face.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know how to have a conversation about my parents dying." I reply with a shrug.

"We're going to get those pansycakes." Uriah butts in and gives me a quick high five.

"Okay guys, we need to get packing. We can talk on the plane." Myra interrupts and starts pushing us towards our apartments. Four unlocks our door and leads me inside.

"That turned out well." He says and pecks my forehead.

"Yea, I'm worried though." I admit and go to the closet. I grab one of my suitcases and start packing a few outfits.

"What are you worried about?" He questions and does the same.

"I don't know... Something doesn't feel right, though I don't know what." I reply.

"Baby girl, everything will be fine. You heard Myra, the other factions are on our side. Erudite is all alone now." He murmurs. I sigh at his words and close my eyes.

"Thanks, your speech helped." I admit and toss an extra pair of shoes into my bag.

"I'll give you pep talks whenever you need them." He chuckles. A smile works its way on to my face and I zip my bag up.

"Done?" He asks and does the same.
"Yea, Im starving, I'll make lunch." I say and stand up. He frowns and follows me to the kitchen.

"What?" I question and open the fridge.

"I can do it." He says and tries to take the eggs from my hands.

"Four, I got it. Go do something productive. Lunch will be ready in fifteen minutes." I huff and press a quick kiss to his cheek. He stares at me for a second then nods.

"I'll go take a quick shower so after we eat we can go to bed." He sighs.

"Okay." I agree and go back to picking ingredients out of the cabinets.

The shower soon turns off, and user two plates on the dining room table. After setting a glass a orange juice next to my plate, I make four a fresh cup of coffee and put  two sugars in it. Just like he likes it.

He steps out of the bedroom with his hair dripping on to his grey shirt. A smile forms on his face and he sits down.

"Thanks, it looks delicious." He states.
"No problem. You're always cooking for me." I reply and sit across from him. He chuckles and shakes his head.

"You deserve someone who can do more than cook for you." He says. I roll my eyes and grab his free hand.

"And you deserve someone who doesn't have such a messed up life." I mock. He rolls his eyes and takes a bite off of his plate.

"Both of our lives are messed up." He counters back.
"And by being together we make them a little bit better." I whisper mostly to myself. He must have heard because a huge smile forms on his face.

"We're going to get through this." He murmurs.
"I know." I sigh.

"Then why do you sound so unsure?" He asks.

"Because... We might get through this. But I know we're not going to be in one piece."
