*Tris's POV*

My eyes slowly open and a yawn leaves my mouth. I try to close my eyes and go back to sleep, but all of last nights memories crash back into my brain.

My eyes fly back open and i stare at Four's bare chest, someone has definitely been working out since I last seen him. His chest is so much more muscly and he now has an eight pack. How does someone gain so much muscle in so little time?

His eyes are still shut and his mouth is slightly ajar. One of his heavy arms is wrapped around my waist and our legs are tangled together. A blush rises to my cheeks and I let out a shaky breath. He starts to stir and he rolls on to his side so he's facing me.

His eyes open and he stares at me. I somehow get lost in his bright blue eyes and miss what he says.

"What?" I quietly ask.

"I said they I've missed waking up next to you." He repeats with an amused look in his tired eyes. I slowly lean up and press a kiss on to his lips. He wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me against his chest as he kisses me.

"Wait... Tobias, we need to talk." I breathlessly state and pull away from him. I quickly sit up and he does the same. I throw the first thing I see on, which happens to be one of his shirts.

"I know... We have a lot to discuss." He agrees.

"Yea-"
"Before we start, lets get some breakfast." He quickly interrupts. I stare at him, his hair is tousled in every direction and he has next to no clothes on. Maybe breakfast will do us some good because I can't stay in this bedroom with him for any longer.

"Okay." I agree and he stands up. He pulls some sweatpants on, then leads me to the kitchen. I hop on to the counter and he chuckles at me. I've missed his laugh so much.

"What do you want? Pancakes?" He asks.

"Mmm, yea. I've been obsessed with them lately." I admit. He nods and grabs the mix out of the cabinet. He starts mixing stuff together and I look down at my hands.

"So, you were in Miami?" He asks with a curious look in his eyes.

"Yes." I confirm.

"And you went... spring breaking?" He hesitantly asks, like he's confused.

"Yea, but I didn't plan on it. The week that I got there, it was spring break, and I said 'why not'. I technically should've been there anyways. I never got to go to my spring break." I reply with a shrug.

"How was it?" He asks as he flips a pancake.

"It was fun." I quietly admit. He raises his eyebrows then steps closer to me, blocking me against the counter and wall.

"That's all you got, fun? Tris, spring break in Miami is one of the wildest spring break locations in the u.s." He says with amusement glistening in his eyes, "I don't care if you were drunk or whatever, I just want to know."

My cheeks heat up and I wrap my arms around his neck.

"Let's just say there's a lot of blanks. But I do remember having fun." I hesitantly reply. He rolls his eyes and presses a kiss on to my forehead before going back to the stove.

"I went to Chicago for a few days too." I admit. His eyebrows furrow and he looks over at me as he hands me a plate.

"Why?" He questions.

"Well, I never got to see my parents grave. I decided it was time, to tie up loose ends. I even went back to my old house, there's a new family living there." I whisper and pop a piece of pancake into my mouth.

"Tris, I'm sorry." He murmurs.

"It's fine... I think I finally came to terms with this... With them not being here." I reply. He hesitantly nods with a non-beliving look in his eyes. We stay eating in silence. I try to eat as slow as possible, because I know when we're done, we have to get into the hard stuff. We soon finish eating and I quickly wash the dishes.

"So, the minute you saw my stupid face, you forgave me?" He asks with a playful smirk. I roll my eyes but nod in confirmation.

"Yes." I admit.

"Why didn't you call me? Or at least let me know that you were okay?" He questions with a hurt look in his eyes.

"I was mad, and I was busy. I called Shauna, told her to try to get you to stop freaking out." I shrug.

"You were busy?" He repeats in disbelief.

"Mhm." I hum. He stares at me with a hard look in his eyes and I sigh.

"I wasn't only spring breaking." I state.
"I know, spring break doesn't last three months." He sharply states.

"Fine, do you want to know what I did for three months? The first week I left, I drove up to Chicago. I stayed there for a month, and as creepy as it sounds I watched the family that lives in my home. They're a cute couple and I'm pretty sure the wife is pregnant. They seemed nice. I went to my parents grave after almost a month of fighting myself over it... After that, I realized that I needed to live my life. So I went to Miami. I partied for two weeks, then stayed there for another month-"
"Doing what?" He interrupts with a frustrated look in his eyes.

"I cried for three weeks and barely got a wink of sleep because memories kept coming back to me." I snap. His eyes go from frustrated to anger.

"Why didn't you come back sooner then?" He growls.

"I was angry at you and Myra and everyone else for lying to me! I didn't want to come back so soon because I knew if I did, I would do something rash." I gauge his reaction, his eyebrows are pulled together with confusion and a hurt look forms in his eyes.

"You were going to break up with me." He states in realization.

"I'm sorry, I was just so angry and hurt... But then i read my mom and dad's letter. They saw all of this coming and they left me advice in the letter. They made me realize that you never planned on hurting me. You were just trying to help me. Tob, I'm sorry." I whisper my eyes swelling with tears. He's going to hate me, I know it. I've been so selfish, what happened wasn't just about me. Jeanine and David most likely hurt other FBI members, besides my family.

Tobias snaps me out of my daze and presses a soft kiss on to my lips. Before i can kiss back, he pulls away. His arms wrap around me and he pulls me into a tight hug.

"You're not leaving me though." He forcefully states, like he wants me to reassure him.

"I'm not leaving you. Not again."
