Chapter 30

"Tris." four coos in my ear. I squirm closer to him and he chuckles. His hands wrap around my waist and he pulls me closer to him. His lips lightly press against mine and I immediately wake up.

"Time to get up." he states.
"It's Saturday." I groan.

"I'm aware. But if we want to solve this case, we have to do overtime. The more effort we put in, the quicker we solve this." he replies. I stay quiet and slowly open my eyes to meet his bright blue ones. I smile and he pressed his lips to mine once again.

"Five more minutes." I whisper when we pull away.
"Okay." he sighs and I rest my cheek against his chest.
"I wish we could just stay here forever. Forget about all of our problems." I admit.

"Me too. But we can't, we have to get you your revenge." he chuckles.
"It's not revenge." I deny.
"Sure it isn't." he teases and kisses my nose.
"It's more like... I'm returning a favor to them." I state. He chuckles and tickles my side making me squirm closer to his chest.

"Five minutes are up. I'll go make breakfast." he teases and stands up. I pout and he goes to the fridge. I slowly sit up and go into the bathroom. I change into a pair of clean leggings, and one of fours oversized shirts. I tie my hair up, then brush my teeth and go to the kitchen. Four pulls me into a kiss and I squeal as he lifts me on to the counter.

"I forgot to tell you something this morning... I love you." He says with a smile.
"I love you too." I murmur and kiss his cheek. He goes back to the stove and continues cooking eggs and bacon. I start making coffee and he swats my hands away.

"I got it." he states.
"I can do it." I reply.
"You can, but I'm not letting you." he replies. I roll my eyes and he sets me back on the counter. He presses a quick kiss to my forehead then goes back to cooking.

"You seem to be in a good mood today." I muse.
"You happen to be the reason." he replies with a chuckle. He hands me a mug of coffee and I immediately take a sip. A sigh escapes my mouth and he chuckles as he hands me a plate of food.

"Thanks." I murmur.
"The best for my princess." he replies.
"Princess?" I repeat with raised eyebrows.
"Yea," he relied and begins eating. I roll my eyes and take my laptop out of my bag. I set it between us and open my emails.

"So I was thinking, and maybe Susan with reply to me if I email her. Then we can't rack her Ip address." I state.

"It's worth a try." he agrees and I quickly type up a message. His eyes scan it and he gives me a nod of approval. I hit enter and Google sends my email.

"What now?" I ask.
"We wait... and hope that she answers." he replies.

*Two Days Later*

Four rapidly types against his keyboard and I stare at him. His fingers are nearly blurring and every time his fingers hit a key it makes a thinking noise.

"What's going on?" I worriedly ask.

"Susan opened the email. I have a good three minutes to track her IP address." He replies with a focussed look in his eyes. I immediately give him his space. I go to the kitchen and busy myself with making him a sandwich. When I go back to the living room, he has a coded page on his laptop and he's intently staring at it.

"Did you find her?" I hopefully ask. He looks up at me with a defeated look in his eyes and my mood dies down.

"Yes." he replies and a squeal escapes my mouth. He chuckles and I pull him into a hug.

"You ass!" I exclaim.
"Hey! Be happy." He chuckles and presses a kiss to my forehead. I look into his eyes and nod.
"I am happy." I murmur.

"I'm glad. Now let's go check this place out." he says and hands me a piece of paper with an address neatly written down.

"Thank you." I whisper and he chuckles.
"Never a problem, partner." He replies and gives me a side hug. I smile and go to gear up. He does the same and we meet back in the living room.

"Ready?" We ask at the same time.
"Yes." We both answer. I giggle and grab his hand as we leave the room.
