Mariin kong tinitigan si Zathrian, hindi nagpapatalo kahit gulat sa mga pinagsasabi niya. Habang siya, nakatayo sa harap ko na parang wala lang! Na parang hindi niya itinatanggi ang kasal niya!
I took a deep breath to calm myself down. Why is this affecting me so much? Ano naman pakialam ko kung totoo ngang kasal siya o hindi? It won't change anything!

"You are! Stop denying it!" I shouted my frustrations out.
I remember the times I was so broken hearted when I found out that he's married! Para saan ang lahat ng sakit na 'yon kung hindi pala siya kasal?!
"I said I'm not!" mariin niyang sabi.
"Divorce, then?"
He shook his head. "I didn't marry anyone. At all."
Pumikit ako nang mariin sandali, pilit pinapakalma ang sarili. I am so mad right now and I don't even know why! I opened my eyes and looked at him sharply.
"You are lying to me! Paanong hindi ka kasal kung 'yon ang pinaniwalaan ng lahat sa nagdaang taon?! You don't need to deny it to me coz I don't care-"
He cut me off. "Well, I care!"
"What?!"
He brushed his hair upwards and licked his lips before looking at me intently. The sun's slowly setting and the color of it reflected in his eyes–that is a mixture of green and brown.
Noon, noong akala ko kaming dalawa na talaga, isa sa mga hiling ko na sana kapag nagkaanak kaming dalawa, mamana nila ang mata ni Zathrian. I have always loved his eyes... and the way it looked at me. Kaya noong nalaman kong nagpakasal siya sa iba, isa sa naisip ko kung mamamana kaya ng mga magiging anak nila ang mata niya? I got so hurt thinking that it wasn't my child who will have those eyes, but eventually I've let go of the idea.
Unti-unti kong tinanggap lahat. Lahat ng plano naming dalawa na dapat ko nang pakawalan kasi hindi na ako ang kasama niya sa pagtupad ng mga 'yon. Unti-unti kong tinanggap kahit masakit! Now, how the hell could I believe him when all these years... I knew that he's married?!
