"Hey let's play in the snow at the park today." I beamed at the group who came along with me outside. I hung out with Ace, June and Chico, it was a great winter's day on December. At least I could see plenty of snow to play with. I jumped outside as the fire within me itches for me to go. The moment I opened the door and jumped outside, I landed on the snow causing it to fly everywhere including the two who moaned at me.
June said after brushing the snow off her back, " No way kids! We could catch a cold once we come back."
"But we won't be at the park for too long." I challenge her with flashy eyes at her, "Please it'll be fun there, let it go through to your head."
" Let it go! Let it go. I'm am one with wind and sky." Ace begins singing but with our disbelieving looks, he stops short and agrees agrees, " Yeah she's right, it'll be fun. The park is only five minutes from here" he gives her the puppy dog eyes, "Pretty please?" Then he hugs her as tight as a bear before she gives in.
"Aw alright." Ace and I say at the same time, before punching our fists in the air acting like little kids,"Only for thirty minutes OK and that's it."
Ace and I looked at each other then do a high five, "Yes!"
Ace yells, "Let's go."
"I know." I agree
So we start walking our way to the park like I usually go for a jog but this time because of the snow we had to walk carefully because I nearly slipped but Ace caught me from gripping the coat. I smiled sheepishly.
"Just being a good brother, that's all." He shrugs until we reached the park, "we're here!"
I jump with a boil of happiness as I run around grabbing a few balls of snow in my gloved hands, throwing one at Ace and another one at June.
"Hey!" Ace laughs," you are definitely on you two. "
"In your dreams kiddies." June mocks us with a laugh of her own, "Let's see if you can take this." She threw her snowball at me but I dodged to the side as it hit the ground from which she groaned.
Out of the corner of my eye there was a young familiar figure in a blue coat, jeans black, boots, gloves and a hat. I smiled, seeing it was Diego, he didn't see us so I decided to have a little fun with him. With one of my snow balls, I threw it at him, smacking him in the neck.
"Hey!" He yells angrily, " who threw that? "
I turn my head away, whistling a tune. But he's not stupid to know because it was too late, a snowball came at me.
"OK, it was me, sorry." I tell him on surrender, "Join us!"
Ace stands beside me, staring at the newcomer, "Yeah join us."
"That's exactly why I came." Diego grins at us cheekily, "you're gonna get it."
"Hey Diego." June greets him, " long time no see. "
He open his eyes as if he never seen her before, "J-June, when did you get here?"
"Today." Then she shoots one of her snowballs at him which had him surprised, "Gotcha little man."
"Hey no fair, you cheated" we were all laughing, throwing snowballs at one other, getting each other cold but that doesn't matter now because right now we just want to have some fun.
I grabbed two more from the ground and threw each of them at the two boys. Oh yeah, you should have seen Ace, he was going crazy because he was laughing his head off and Diego was busy trying to aim snow at my face but he missed.
