I was having another walk right in the middle of Los Angeles City, around the corners of the Reynolds' house with Chico sitting on my shoulder, I did this to spend more of my freedom walking around. Spending my couple of days left until the two of us move away from home.

Looking around all the snow has finally melted but it was still chilly outside. Good thing I did have the coat on but for some time in a while I couldn't help smiling at every building I look at, even the cool looking ones that I wish I could go in.

I have just noticed that Chico enjoys hanging around with me staying close to each other. We were like a team of Scooby and Shaggy or Timon and Pumba the pairs who always stood together no matter what got in their way. I like the way the two of us, just Chico and me alone, I loved it, the bond we have shared since the first time I got him. I like spending the quality time together.

As I continue walking, I came across Diego's house as soon as he has stepped out. When he saw me and Chico walking by, he waved his hand with a smile and came besides us. For a while we didn't say anything but I got to say he has noticed the enjoyable look on my face. But you know he actually stayed patient until he ruined it.

He asked, "Hey, Lola, little bird what are you two up to?"

"Oh, we're just going for a walk." I tell him stareing at the cars going by, "you know just a fresh air seems to be doing good on us so yeah."

"But it's so cold out here, you could freeze to death." He warned as he wrapped his arms around himself, "and this coat isn't doing it's good job."

I shrugged, "Then why are you out?"

"Oh!" He blinked, "Oh, I was just doing my last minute homework until I saw you two, so I thought if I could come by a little while and refresh my mind, it always helps."

"I just want to spend my few days walking because I'm going to be moving in the weekends." I told him, "I know, it's going to be a drag on us."

"Oh, I guess." He muttered, "So, where are you moving?"

I told him where I'm moving and he just stood there looking and I stopped too, "Don't be sad, I'll come back for a visit."

Chico repeated, "Don't be sad, I'll come back, don't be sad, I'll come back."

He grabbed my wrist gently squeezing, "I'm not sad, I'm glad you found a place to move on to but I'm also going to miss you my friend."

I released my grip from his hand, gave him a smile until he left us alone back to his house. With that I continued walking until I reached the spot where nightmares would haunt me big time. I just stood there staring at the place in front of me

In front of my sight was an old abandon building layed in ruins, part of it was broken and part of it was burned black. I gasped for a second eyeing it up and down.

As I focused my eye pupils on the burnt building. Images of my father picking me and Joey in his arms running down the stairs, he fell. Joey pulling me me by the shirt, Dad's corpse burnt like barbecue as he layed there still without a word. Outside I escaped, my house burned to ashes, my parents death and Joey's cold little body lying in my arms.

I took steady breaths placing my hands on my head trying to forget it but no matter what the place keeps haunting my mind no matter what as if the demonic monster doesn't want to leave me alone. I pushed back the tears. Chico squawking comforting me.

I took a quick step back and ran away from it as fast as I can, until then my foot tripped over a stone and hit my face on the grey pavements. I sat up steadying my breaths for ten seconds, standing up. I checked my face if there was any blood flowing, so far none just a scratch. I stood there wide eyed as I realised that had been a long time since I saw my broken down home a long time ago.

"Let's go home Chico, Donny and the rest of the Reynolds could get mad at us again." I say to myself and Chico squawked in agreement.

When I reached home, I quickly made my way upstairs to my room without interrupting anyone. I reached the room, got a different set of clothes like usuall just a red button over a black top and trousers.

I left my dark blue scarf and the necklace on my bed cover so no one would take it. I went inside the bathroom for a shower. I let the warm water rain on me completely, washing all the scratch, dirt as well as wash away the pain but also to calm my mind and keep my body healthy.

I dried myself with a clean towel and put on a fresh pairs of clothes and stepped out of the bathroom, wet hair still dripping down so I wrapped my hair with it. I put my necklace and scarf back on and let myself lie on my bed for another few minutes.

Getting board, I twisted the winding key of my clockwork pendent couple of times before letting it go. Chico took his seat on my bed board curiously looking around. Afterwards he started grooming his feathers again with his orange beak.

Closing my eyes I listened calmly to the special lullaby tune, it was calming my mind just as wind blowing your face . So full of life and beauty. At the same time a single tear sprang out hitting the bed yet at the same time a smile spread across my face.

When I opened my eyes, Chico was still sitting on the bed board listening to the tune with me, I lifted my hands up stroking his beak, he let me stroke his chest making him happy.

I sang the Incy Wincy Spider song to myself and Chico but I was interrupted by the knock on the front door. I jolt to the window to see who it was to find a post man carrying a small package.

I bolt out of the room and head downstairs to find Mikey standing holding the package in his hands.

When he saw me, he says, "Lola, this package has arrived and it has your name on it from your Uncle Alex."

"Thanks." I grab it from his hand and head to the living room to find Ace watching another animated movie. I took a seat next to him on the couch.

"Hey Lola, how has the walk been on you?" He asks and eyes the box in my hand up and down, "I wonder what is inside?"

"Not sure. You want to find out?" I grin at him, "let's see it together."

He agreed with curiosity, I ripped the brown paper off to find a train ticket with my name and destination for New England.

"A train ticket, no way." Ace gasped, pointed, "looks like he took care of your transportation, after all."

I nod looking at it for few minutes until Ace bursts standing up. I looked up at him strangely as he starts thinking of something.

"We should have a party." Ace yells with excitement.

"No no, we don't have to do a party." I pointed out with a grin, "You don't have to set the party for me."

"Oh come on, it'll be fun." He clasped both of his hands together, "Please, it's just a party, we'll only invite few people like Diego and Zack and other people you know, it's a moving party not a dangerous drinking party like in those movies."

"When?" I ask meeting his eyes looking down at me with puppy dog eyes.

He bolted, "Today evening."

"We'll have to ask your parents than."

"OK, I'll ask them." He says running into the kitchen to ask Sarah.

I mutter to myself 'boys' maybe party would be a great idea before moving.

Ace came back running in the living room with a big grin on his face and you could see his teeth showing, "She said, tomorrow night because we need to be prepared with organising it."

"That's alright." I say.

"Let's make the invitations today and tomorrow we can make food and games." I told him, "It'll be fun and chaotic."

Ace asked getting a piece of paper and pen, "Who would you want to invite?"

"There are few people I know, Diego, Zack, Andrea Jones the orphanage owner and Tom."

He frowned, "Thats it."

"Well yeah, those are the only people I know besides people I don't normally talk to." Before I could think, "except James Parker but he's gone."

"Alright, lets get everything ready for tomorrow." Ace jumps running around the room like a football player who won his game, "Party, Party yes let's party for tonight."
