At the train station with Chico back in his cage again and my luggage with the Reynolds. I hugged them all including Michael Reynolds or should I say Mikey with words of encouragement of ' goodbyes ' and ' see you next time '. Now I'm standing at the train station waiting for the next train to arrive. I am pretty much more nervous then ever that I'll be going away from Los Angeles for what felt like years.

I look at Chico, uncomfortable being cooped up in a cage. I never let him stay in his cage, birds don't survive long in the. Since I got him, I have been spending a lot of my friendship with him for months since Jamie gave him to me.

"Don't worry Chico, you'll be in there only for today until we meet my Uncle Alex again." I tell him with my smile, "to tell you the truth I've never been in New England before."

Whilst I wait for the train, my legs felt cramped so I took a seat on the closest bench. Watching other people walking by, I see other trains already arrived but they weren't the ones I'm waiting for. I see other birds flying around in the sky freely and singing away their little songs. Chico must be feeling jealous they could fly around and not him. I wish I could take him without a cage but it could cause problems and I don't want that to happen.

I hear a choo comes train from the distance of my right running towards us, this is it that's the train I'm going on. One of the train service comes over, lifting up my luggages in a trolley and I took my bird cage with me inside the train on the luggage bays above the seats while I place Chico's luggage next to me because right now no one took a seat next to mine.

As I felt the vibration from the train, it was moving. I've spent most of my time starring at the window with Chico as the trees go by. It likes the fields of green trees and houses winds past in a speed faster. It makes that track track and choo choo sound.

The train has stopped a few times for other passengers to come in and get out. Some passengers have caught sight of us, eyeing the bird in the cage with me and some people gave me a smile or a nod in small greetings.

So far this cabin of the train was almost packed full so I gently had to lift Chico's cage carefully and placed it on the floor between me legs so that I could keep an eye on him.

It took three hours so far, my tummy started to rumble with hunger. I grabbed my backpack and grabbed a slice of sandwich and Chico's bird crackers that I offered and he greedily took it with his beak through the cage.

I stared at the window while I ate my sandwich until I was boosted full.

We came to another stop and this time more people burst inside and again nearly all the seats are full except the one next to mine.

Another passenger, a big boy about sixteen or seventeen walked inside looking around for any spare seat until his eyes rested on the one next to me, he gave me a polite smile, giving him a nod he could sit.

I turned my gaze back to Chico who also noticed his presence but he carried on grooming his feathers with his beak. I smiled at him, glad that my uncle let me bring him with me.

I felt the boy already sitting next to me because of his footsteps or his pumps stops drumming the floor.

"Do you mind if I sit here?" The tall boy asked.

"Sure you can." I say politely giving him a smile before I carry on starring at the window.

"Thanks." He took the seat and began playing on his latest IPhone 5, probably texting or playing games.

I got board so I decided on check my phone too for any messages but so far I got only one from Ace.

I clicked his contact and it says, Let me know if u get there or if u have any problems in the train like if you miss your destination point, I'd dought that ;-) :-) I know nothing bad will happen to you.

I chuckled and texted back, I'll let you know and I'm already on the train.

"Travelling?" The boy next to me stopped paying with his phone, giving me his full attention.

I replied, "Actually, I'm kinda moving away from my home city."

He says worriedly, "Your moving alone, boy, you're what twelve and under legal age."

"I'm thirteen actually, I'm not living alone, my uncle will be there." I tell him.

"Sorry, just a little curious." He chuckled softly, " I mean of course, family. "

" I'm actually going to be living with my uncle, I'm actually going to be living with my uncle." Chico repeated, getting the boy's attention, he was jaw dropped.

He asks after closing his mouth, "Is that a parrot?"

I have him a nod.

"Did he just talk?"

I giggled at his reaction, "Thats what parrots do?"

He reached his hand out to pat Chico's head and he let him, "Hey there, little guy."

Chico squawked, "little guy, little guy."

He chuckled turning to me, "What's his name?"

"Chico!"

"Chico, he's so cute."

I agree, Chico lately had become the center of attention lately.

"My name is Ricky, what is yours?" He reached his hand for a shake.

I accepted it replying, "Lola Woods."

We talked about random stuff like age, favorite color, food and blah blah blah.

"Where are you moving to?" He asks.

"New England."

"I'm visiting us grandparents for New years eve in New York."

My eyes widen, "Thats where my uncle will pick me up from."

I yawn, feeling tired because I had to wake up early morning for the train to arrive. It was a drag

"Tired?" I gave Ricky a nod, "Get some rest, I'll wake you up when you get there."

"Thanks." I reply with a smile before I rest my arms on the window sill and lean my chin against it before drifting off to sleep.

When I woke up I felt a hand shaking me from my sleep.

"Lola wake up, you have arrived at your true destination." I jolt right up, looking around my surroundings to find I was on a train.

"Right." I got up from the seat trying to grab my suitcase from the luggage bay.

"Let me get that down for you." Ricky grabbed the luggage before I could and brought it down, "Why don't I carry that cage for you too, it'll be hard to carry everything at the save time."

"Thanks, you're right."

He lifted Chico's cage while I carried the backpack and my suitcase. We made our way out of the train and boy the train station in New York city is full of energetic people minding their own business. I was thriller that I was able to spot the Empire State Building from where we stood, it was tall and huge that it stands out from all the other buildings.

A familiar voice called, "Lola, Lola over here." I saw the voice of a hand who is waving at me.

"There's my uncle." I pointed out with my hand, Ricky eyed where my hand is pointed and followed me to my Uncle Alex.

He wrapped his arms around me into a hug

"Lola my dear you made it safe and sound."he says before releasing me holding my shoulder, " Your parents would be happy if they saw you here."

Before I could respond, my uncle's eyes landed over my shoulder.

"Oh Uncle Alex this is Ricky my new friend, I met him on the train."

They both shook their hands with a smile and hellos before I thanked him and went bank to his business.

"Let's go Lola, you must be very tired and we have quite a few things to settle down." He says as we reach his car.

This was the first time in my life, I have left my old hometown. I hope nothing bad happens in the future.
