Chapter 10

It has beena month since I left the orphanage, lived in with the Reynolds house and become bes t friends with Chico and I was becoming closer and closer to the family who lived in this house. I have to admit even with Donny's mood I find myself going use to around him. Sure there are times he look at me with his grumpy glare from random times and other times he would talk to me. It is the month of October and also I am back with continuing homeschooling with Mr Brown who has been told I have now moved in with my new legal guardians.

When he came, he told me that I have a lot of catching up to do in my studies since I missed a lot of things from the time I had been moaning over James's death. First he gave lectures of maths, he was teaching Algebra today but it was kind of hard so I asked him to teach me the method again, eventually I got the hang of it and he gave me some homework. Next he was teaching Biology for science, giving lessons of the organs of the human body and for English studying a Shake sphere book.

After my morning tution I ran down to the kitchen with Chico flying behind me and Sarah was there making me a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for me. I took my seat and started munching my sandwich, Chico landed on the ground eating the crumbs that have fallen from my sandwich which I didn't mind, buts eat them as snacks which you throw at them.

After my lunch and the last tuition lesson today I decided to explore the woods which is behind the park. I decided to go there with Chico because I don't want to leave him here all alone, Donny and Ace are at school, Mikey out in his job and Sarah doing her usual cooking for the evening, I love her food. The last time I went there was when my parents and Joey were still around, we used to go there for fun and adventures. I haven't been there for a long time since then.

Before I go I decided to change my clothes into an ankle length skinny jeans, black boots and an army green shirt. I nodded for Chico to come along too.

We are already at the park just as I stand in front of the woods, facing the huge trees. Before I go I try to push the memories of the past behind besides why let that eat me. We began to wonder around the woods. Everything looks exactly as they were before except all the leaves have fallen off the trees because it's the autumn season.

"What do you think Chico? This is your first time wondering the woods." I say to him in which he repeated twice.

I spotted one of the trees, which is big and strong so I decided to try to climb it up. I walked towards it, with both of my hand I grabbed a branch which is lowest and strong and used is to pull myself up and then I use my right hand to grab another branch which is higher whilst I used my left hand to grab another, I do this a couple of times without trying to look down and have a mini heart attack. Once I felt tired of climbing, I decided to take a rest leaning on the tree for a while.

Chico decided to join me so he sat on a tree branch next to me. This is my first time climbing a tree and I've always wanted a chance to climb a tree someday.

"Hey Chico, I love you." I say turning to him and then he decided to sit on my arm.

"I love you too Lola." He replays.

It was time to go home so I climbed back down the way I climbed up until I slipped but I caught myself on one of the branches. 

"I'm OK, Just slipped." I say to Chico who was nearly shocked so I carried on climbing down until I let go and safely landed on the ground. "Climbing trees takes practise and I'm not even close to Tarzan." which is true.

I tried to find my way back out of the woods but it looks like, I'm just walking in circles until my feet becomes sore and covered in blisters. I keep walking and walking until my feet becomes tired until I trip myself on to a tree root and crash myself with my face hitting the ground.
