CHAPTER 34

Dear Athena Crimson,

The content of this letter is very crucial to your well-being. Do not take it lightly.

I am Agatha Crimson, the long-forgotten blood sister of Augustus Crimson. If you are reading this letter, it means that you must have acquired your premonition abilities and it has been several decades since my time.

To be clear, Premonition abilities are usually inherited only by the females born in the family, and it differs from foretelling because, unlike foretellers we cannot predict the future of a person of our choice. The vision we get can occur while we are awake or in our dreams and will always happen in the future. But do not worry about mistaking an ordinary dream as a vision, as you will know the difference when the time comes.

I know from my latest premonition that the man that haunts me will be after you too. I also know that you will be mated to a werewolf of the Cage Pack. Which is why I leave you this letter, to let you know what happened.

Few years before I realized I have premonition abilities, and in order to learn more about it, I went to the witch clan, who helped me understanding it. There, I met Luna Grace of the Cage pack. We became good friends, and we met often, had get togethers with our families.

Sometime later, I had a vision where, a vampire village was being destroyed by human hunters. More specifically, a female vampire was being killed with a wooden stake when a powerful male vampire enters the hut and kills the hunters and holds her in his arms weeping. Her last word being "Mate"

I realized that it was my responsibility to find the male vampire and inform him about the vision, so he could find his mate sooner and avoid her demise. But, at that time several vampire villages were being destroyed by the hunters and I couldn't find any information as everyone thought I worked for the hunters because I am human. Only the Cage pack trusted me, and after about two months we found him. Lord Lucius, an ancient vampire. He refused to meet me initially as he thought it was a trap. But with the help of the Cage pack, he agreed. After I told him about my vision he panicked and asked me if I had any clue about the village. But I only saw inside the hut, so I couldn't help him. So, he started to look for his mate in the nearest vampire village that was being attacked at the moment. Sadly, that was where he found his mate, who died exactly as my vision. He lost control and went on to kill all the hunters, and didn't stop for several months. He single-handedly reduced the hunter population to zero.

But the trouble started after that. Lord Lucius is a very powerful ancient vampire, who lost his mate and was filled with bloodlust and rage. Soon he lost his mind and wanted revenge, by destroying all humans. But the Council of Super-naturals prohibited him from doing that. So, he wants to kill me, as his new belief is that I am one of the hunters, who just wanted to make him see his mate die and torture him.

While my intentions were pure, he has gone crazy and cannot be convinced. So, I have been hiding from him, taking refuge in different places ever since. Recently I had a vision of him after you because you possess powers similar to mine and that you are mated to the Alpha of the Cage pack. It was not clear and no information can be deduced from it, but I can tell that his hunt will never stop, and will continue to harm the people in our family, with this ability.

I know that you will be able to find this letter through your abilities. So, I have asked Augustus to somehow contact Grace and ask her to keep this letter in some place in her pack, where it will be touched by none, except for you, when you meet your mate and come to his pack, after several decades.

I am leaving again and will severe contact even with Augustus. No one in our family, henceforth will know I existed, to keep our family safe. My heartfelt apologies for dragging you into this. I am helpless, but if there is one thing that I have learnt from my abilities, it is that if a vision ends in suspense, not revealing what happens in the end, then it means that there is a fighting chance to win the situation. I hope, you overpower Lord Lucius and live a long, happy life.
