After a 2-hour journey via train, me and Betty hired a cab at the station to be driven to the estate. After a good ten minutes, Betty started to doze off. I was taking in my surroundings.

I noticed a huge banner with a sign 'WELCOME TO THE CAGE ESTATES'. It was a very refreshing ride, the driver said we still had about 10 more minutes before we reached the resort. After a while, I noticed another sign which said people must not roam outside of the resort, after 6pm, due to animal sightings. The driver noticed me looking at the sign and said "People have seen wolves in this area Madam, some have gone missing too, that is why they have put up the sign." I was shocked to know that people went missing, but again I was never a rule breaker, I always did what I was told, because I knew that those rules are only in best interests. So, if the curfew was at 6, I will be inside by 5.50pm. Speaking of rules, I remembered I didn't call my parents (who lived in the outskirts at our family house) after arriving at the station.
I mentally facepalm myself for forgetting... I know I'm a big girl and don't have to inform my parents about everything I do, but they insist and honestly, I don't mind.
"Hi Mom! We reached the station some time before and I'm now in the cab" I said. My mom, Ruth Crimson said "Honey! Me and your father were worried, we thought that the train delayed or something, don't do this again." "Okay mom, I have to go we have almost reached the resort and Betty is still asleep." "Okay Athena, we love you... take care" my mom said and I cut the call. My mom and my dad Roger Crimson were overprotective of me, it was annoying sometimes I have to accept, but hey I love them too!
I woke Betty and we took our luggage inside the resort.
