The Mirror World

Third Person's POV
15-year-old Liam was eager to go back home. He wasn't safe here. But seeing as he doesn't know how his father pushed him through the mirror in the first place, he's stuck in this place only demented creeps would call "home."

He was still near the mirror he was pushed through, just waiting for his father to allow him back home. He didn't even have any weapons with him to defend himself, just sticks and branches that had fallen off of the trees around him.

He heard footsteps and rustles in the forest around him, and suddenly became very aware of his surroundings.

He saw a girl walk out from behind a tree.

She had white buttons for eyes. Her pasty skin was a pink sandstone color, she had droopy elf ears, and her long, braided hair was an ivory color. She had four arms, three fingers on each hand, sharp teeth, and appeared optimistic. She was wearing the same clothes Deity Omega was wearing, and looked almost just like her.

"Aww! You are absolutely adorable!" said the girl as she approached Liam.

He stood up, not sure whether to freak out or run away or both. "...D... Deity?"

"Deity? No, no! My name is Ares. I am the Princess here!" she said.

The... Princess-? The fuck? he thought.

"Do you wish to play with me? Or... Perhaps you want to become one of us?"

Liam wasn't sure how to react or feel. He knew this girl was Deity, but how in the hell did she get like this?

Ares frowned. "Aw, I'm afraid it's too soon for you, young one. Good things come to those who wait, just be patient." A grin grew on her face. "I'll look forward to when we can play together..."

Liam watched as Ares/Deity walked away. He felt nauseous and confused, not knowing what to think.

Just two hours passed, and Liam was strolling through the forest, very aware of everything around him and being cautious.

He had noticed two more mirrors, just in random places. He was next to a simple square one right now, but couldn't see anything other than a white room on the other side.

He heard someone heavily breathing while hearing more rustles in the trees and dead bushes.

When Liam saw who it was, he was disturbed.

It was a man, with long, dark hair, multiple horns on his head, pasty green skin, and seemed to have no ears at all. His eyes were completely grey and his face was badly bruised. He had no arms and was bleeding from where they were ripped from his torso.

The man was mumbling the words: "...Was safe... No harm... Found alone... Given punishment... Arms removed... Body contorted..."

He looked up, seeing an uncomfortable Liam by the mirror. He was focusing on his arms. Liam watched as blood gushed from the man's shoulders. He felt as if he was going to vomit.

The two of them were just staring at one another.

"...Arms removed... Body contorted..." The man stood up straight. "Need justice... Need revenge..."
