Room 403 swung open, spilling out a ton of students, just finished with their lecture. Hyunjae lent himself against the wall, opposite the room, keeping a sharp eye out for the boy. He didn't really plan what he was going to say to him, or what he'd do once they were eye to eye, because he didn't feel like he had to. He could get any person to fall for him, with the snap of his fingers.
He tapped him foot, impatiently waiting for the boy to come out. Hyunjae was prepared to wait all day, but that didn't mean he actually wanted to. After a minute or so, Jacob appeared, making Hyunjae inexplicably lick his lips.
The angel was wearing a pastel pink, over-sized top, and white cuffed jeans. His blonde hair was ruffled, almost like he just rolled out of bed. He looked even more adorable than Hyunjae had remembered. Sweet boys were his kryptonite, he couldn't resist them.
Hyunjae sauntered over to Jacob, who was still standing by the door. He seemed to be checking his class schedule. Putting on his most gentle, 'angel' like voice, Hyunjae waved his hand in front of the angels face.
"Hi, I was wondering-"
"Jacob, my drivers outside. Let's go before he jumps down my throat again." A voice called out, interrupting Hyunjae. The boy was uncomfortably familiar, none other than the very person Hyunjae had pretended to date the other day.
Of course it couldn't be that easy, something had to get in the way.
"Okay, just give me a sec." Jacob replied, turning from Sangyeon to Hyunjae. "Do you need help with something?"
That soft voice tickled Hyunjae's ears, entrancing him for a moment. The boy's smile was so pretty, it was inviting and warm, just what you want to see when you need help.
"I've got a bit lost, I was hoping you could show me to the front entrance." Hyunjae may have been in awe, but he was still an opportunist. He used his quick thinking, to devise the best way to spend time with Jacob at this very moment.
"I can do. My friend and I, are heading down there now."
"Thank you-"
"Let's go Jacob." Sangyeon snapped, cutting off Hyunjae again.
The demon would've had no problem putting Sangyeon in his place if they were downtown, but getting into a fight, wasn't very angel like. So he bit his tounge, trailing behind the boys as they walked down the hallway.
Jacob slowly backed away from Sangyeon, taking his place beside Hyunjae. "Sorry about him, he's been in a bad mood all day." He whispered, trying to avoid catching his friends attention. "Are you new here?"
"Yeah, just transferred today." Hyunjae lied. He hadn't created a huge backstory, simply because he knew he couldn't keep track of it. From his experience, it's best not to complicate things, keep it as vague as possible.
"Oh cool."
"You're actually the first person I've spoken to. Everyone else is quite intimidating, but you seemed so friendly." It was time to turn up the charm, he couldn't waste a single moment. "Like that smile of yours, kind of took my breath away, I hope that's not too weird coming from a stranger."
Jacob couldn't hide the blush covering his face, he bit his lip, trying to stop his smile. "No that's actually a really nice compliment, thank you."
"You're welcome, I'm Jaehyun by the way."
"I'm Jacob."
It had started, Hyunjae was ready to go all in. This boy was going to be his and only his. They continued talking all the way to the front entrance, where they unfortunately had to part ways. Though it wouldn't be long til they saw each other again, Hyunjae hadn't done all this work transforming to only show up for one day.

Chanhee rushed his way through Juyeon's apartment, crashing down on the boys sofa. He swatted away the book Kevin was readying, laying his head on his friends lap. He'd had the longest day ever, first he viewed the venue, then had to sit through an excruciating lunch with his boyfriend. He really didn't feel like going home, so he texted Kevin, and headed to meet the boy.
"You look stressed." Kevin said, staring down at the angel.
"I'm very much over everything." Chanhee huffed. He sat himself up, curling his legs up on the sofa. "Sangyeon was being so moody at lunch, he was all like 'you didn't invite me, you don't want me there', Ugh he's annoying."
Juyeon chuckled at Chanhee's mocking. He was currently sat on the floor, by the coffee table, reading a book. He put the book down, to get involved in the conversation. "It's only a tour of the venue, I think he's overreacting slightly."
"Mm defiantly." Chanhee agreed, pointing towards Juyeon cause he made a good point. "He's really insecure at the moment. Since I ran off the other day, he thought I didn't want to get married-"
"Which you don't." Kevin imposed, getting an eye roll in return.
"Anyway, now he thinks I want to get married, but not to him. He thinks I don't want him around, or to help with the arrangements. It's too much to deal with." He continued, fake fainting onto Kevin's lap.
"Listen, I don't know much about this situation. Though, I would say that it's better to marry someone you actually-" Juyeon paused, seeing Kevin shaking his head violently at him. "Like."
Kevin braced himself, leaning back against the cushions.
"Why does everyone think I don't like Sangyeon?!" Chanhee bounced up, staring intensely at Juyeon as he shouts.
For years people had questioned his feelings for Sangyeon, mostly Sangyeon himself. Chanhee felt like he always had to make it clear, or else people would get the wrong idea. It became a sore spot for him, meaning his friends tried to avoid the topic at all costs.
"He's my boyfriend! And I love him! And I'm happy to get married to him! And I'm sick of having to tell people that!" Chanhee slumped over, his sentence becoming more breathy. His eyes began welling up, with tears streaming down his cheeks soon after.
"Come here." Kevin pulled Chanhee into his arms, brushing the boys fringe out of his eyes. "I know you have to lie to everyone else, but you can be honest with me."
Chanhee snuggled closer to Kevin, wiping his tears with his sweater paws. He swallowed the lump in his throat, composing himself. "You're literally my favourite person."
"Well maybe you shouldn't ignore me at school then." Kevin joked sarcastically.
"If Sangyeon's annoying now, I'd hate to see him when I ditch him for you." Chanhee laughed. He felt more comfortable sitting with Kevin, there was no pressure to be anyone but himself. Obviously he felt guilty about siding with Sangyeon, but what choice did he have?
Juyeon awkwardly picked himself off the floor, after watching Chanhee's breakdown. He sat himself on the arm of the sofa, placing his hand on the angels shoulder. "Sorry, I didn't know that would make you upset."
"Don't apologize, it's not your fault." Chanhee reassured, he knew Juyeon didn't mean anything bad by what he said. Plus, he's new around, so he couldn't have known that would make Chanhee worked up. "Can we just change the subject?"
"For sure, there's actually something big we need to talk about." Kevin replied, glancing towards Juyeon. "It's about Hyunjae."
