Chanhee cuddled under his soft bed sheets, pushing his head further into his plush cushions. If only he could stay like this forever, there's no better feeling than getting some sleep. Though, from the streams of light shooting through the room, it was obviously morning. Reluctantly, Chanhee fluttered his eyes open, yawning at the same time. He took a moment to adjust to the morning, becoming more aware of being awake.
Ruffling his messy bed hair, Chanhee thinks back to the dramas of yesterday. After he spoke with Kevin and Juyeon on Thursday, the angel decided to confront Hyunjae a day later. He didn't want to spook Jacob, so he was hoping to just scare the demon off. Yet, that's not really how it worked out.
Go ahead, tell Jacob. Just know I'll have no problem telling everyone about your little escapades with Younghoon.
Hyunjae's words played over in his mind, how didn't he see that one coming? He had no choice, he had to let Hyunjae do as he pleased. He wanted to protect Jacob, but he couldn't, not right now. At the end of the day, Chanhee had to look out for himself, Hyunjae wasn't someone to mess with.
Sitting himself up, Chanhee heard his door squeak open, breaking his train of thought away from Hyunjae.
"Chanhee, I need to speak with you." The fairy said, stepping into the boys room. When his parents were around she called him master Choi, but when it was just the two of them, she spoke more casually.
The angel nodded, letting Eunji continue. "My sisters fallen very unwell, and she has no one to care for her. I'm leaving for a few weeks, but I'll be back once she's better. It's really important you don't get yourself into trouble, I can't stress this enough. I won't be around to help you."
These words affected Chanhee more than he would have thought. It was definitely going to feel weird not having Eunji around, he knew he could always rely on her to be there if anything went wrong. What would he do without her?
Swallowing the lump in his throat, Chanhee made another promise. This time he intended to keep it. "I've learnt my lesson, I'll be good, I promise."
"Okay." Eunji spoke like she didn't believe him. If she didn't have to leave, she wouldn't, Chanhee was too emotional at the moment, he kept making bad decisions. She knew what dangerous situations he put himself in when she was there, who knows what he could do when she wasn't around.
"There's a new maid coming tomorrow, so you'll be totally cared for. Be nice to her, and show her the upmost respect. I'll be going now, I'll try to keep in touch."
"Have a safe trip."
Eunji smiled, before leaving the room. Chanhee could hear her fiddling with bags down the hall, followed by the dinging of the elevator. She was really gone.
Rolling himself over, he grabbed his phone off his bedside table, checking the time. It was a Saturday, meaning he had no lectures. Though, he couldn't rest, he had still agreed to meet with Kevin. He dragged himself out of bed, heading towards the bathroom.

The angels met at the local mall, to spend some time together. Chanhee felt awful about ignoring Kevin, due to his ongoing conflicts with Changmin and Sangyeon, so this was his apology. They looked really cute, wandering around the mall, holding cups of bubble tea in their hands. Chanhee wore an over-sized, blue striped sweat shirt, with white Jeans, and Kevin wore white dungarees, with a pink hoodie underneath. They visited a few different stores, picking up some random items of clothing.
Once realizing they were hungry, they decided to get something to eat. The boys walked to the food court, sitting down at a table near the pizza restaurant. Chanhee felt his phone vibrate for the millionth time, but he just ignored it, like he had all day.
"He's probably losing it." Kevin chuckled, seeing his friend wince at the statement.
"Ugh I know, but if I tell him I'm with you, he'll get all moody."
Truthfully, Chanhee was sick of Sangyeon's over bearing nature, the boy was suffocating him. He'd rather ignore the texts, than deal with his boyfriends outbursts.
"At least answer him once, maybe he'll get off your back." Kevin suggested, standing up from the table. "I'll go get the food, you want your regular?"
"Mm hmm thanks." Chanhee replied.
As Kevin went to buy the lunch, Chanhee pulled his phone from his pocket. He knew that he'd have hundreds of texts from Sangyeon, it wasn't a guess, he felt all those vibrations. He scrolled to the top of his messages, where it began so tame.
Sangyeon💕
Good morning cutie😘
I'm getting coffee with Jacob, you want anything?
Are you actually not awake?
It's 10 amThen Chanhee scrolled a bit, skipping some of the messages, though they all basically said the same things.
Sangyeon💕
I'm worried
Are you alright?
I wen't by your apartment
The guard said no ones in
Have you gone somewhere? Then he scrolled a bit more, to where it really escalated.
Sangyeon💕
Don't ignore me
I know you're with Kevin
Jacob told me
Is this some kind of joke?
No one's laughing
You're so selfish
I'm really getting sick of youYes, he probably should message back, but Chanhee really didn't want to deal with that. He was having such a nice day, he didn't want Sangyeon's mood to ruin it.

Chanhee got home around 7, after getting caught up in all the fun he was having with Kevin. As the elevator went up, the angel could feel something weird in his stomach, like he was forgetting something. The metal doors opened, and Chanhee stepped out, seeing a bunch of well dressed people in his living room.
His mothers eyes widened, rushing over to her son. He could see his dads disappointed expression from across the room, reminding him of why he shouldn't have come back.
"Why are you dressed like this? I told you to look smart." His mother questioned. "You'll have to go."
"I forgot about the dinner, I'll go get changed-"
"No you need to go." His mother cut him off, leaning in to whisper in his ear. "This is an important dinner, with the high class people of this city. I can't have you embarrass your father."
Chanhee gulped, it was quite demoralizing, being told he'd be an embarrassment.
"Go see Sangyeon alright." She whispered, pulling herself away from him. "Oh sweetie, let me get that for you." His mother spoke, loud enough for the guests to hear. She hurried to Chanhee's room, returning with a random text book.
"I'm so proud of my hard worker!"
The angel could hear the guests cooing at him, and his father playing up how smart the boy was. With everyone distracted, his mother pushed him into the elevator, giving him a firm smile, before walking away. Chanhee couldn't object, just letting the elevator take him down. He couldn't quite work out if he'd rather be with his parents, or with Sangyeon, he'd be suffering either way.
