The town wasn't anything special, just a small outdated place, where the views of the creatures, matched with the towns aesthetic. The roads were bumpy, broken, and littered with pot holes, it seemed as if no one cared about fixing them, considering the amount of people driving over them happily. The high streets were filled with classic family run businesses, no chains, so Chanhee didn't recognize any of the stores they passed. The buildings definitely looked old, but were up kept much better than the roads.
Soon enough, they'd driven out of the main town, now heading down country lanes. Only a single road, surrounded by hedges, it was a little nerve racking, especially for Juyeon, who'd never driven down roads like that before. Luckily, Younghoon was there, to help guide him, and they managed to arrive safely at an opening, alongside the woods.
There were no houses in sight, but Juyeon still parked the car, next to the two others that were also parked. The four boys clambered out, breathing in the fresh air of the forest, it was a pleasant change from the city air they were use to.
"We have to head through the forest to get to my house, so grab your stuff." Younghoon stated, walking to the back of the car.
After picking up their things, the boys followed Younghoon through the forest. There was a small, winding trail, that lead through the trees, with beautiful beds of wild flowers decorating the way. They passed a couple cottages, on their travels, which were most likely distant neighbors of the demons. The journey took about 10 minutes, until they had gotten to their destination.
A cozy, wooden cottage, with stone detailing, met the group with wide eyes. It was almost magical looking, certainly somewhere they'd never have expected Younghoon to grow up. The sun shone through the gaps in the trees, laying shadows of branches and leaves over the tiled roof. This was something you'd never see in the city, there were hardly any trees at all.
Yet again, the boys followed Younghoon, this time towards the front door. With a few knocks, Chanhee could feel his heart racing, knowing he was about to meet his boyfriends mum. Of course he'd done it before, with his other boyfriend, though he'd known Sangyeon his whole life, it was very different to this.
The door swung open, revealing a quite stunning, dark haired woman, with those iconic deep red eyes. She looked to be about middle aged, but had obviously aged very well. She wore a black robe, knotted tightly around her waist, and had visibly sore eyes.
"Younghoon." She said, her voice soft, yet filled with love.
The demon greeted his mother, with a gentle hug, then positioned her to face the group. He was about to speak, when his mother cut him off, rushing over to blonde boy she'd just spotted.
"Is this Chanhee?" She asked, watching the angel shyly nod. "Oh I'm so happy you could come." She continued, wrapping her arms around Chanhee.
The hug wasn't long, but Chanhee loved the warmth. His mother barely had the time to talk to him, let alone hug him, so it was nice to feel a mothers embrace. "It's lovely to meet you." He said, as the woman pulled away.
Her excitement seemingly got the better of her, cupping the boys face in her hands. Though, it was gentle, Chanhee winced at the way it burnt. He wasn't use to this demons touch, it was something he had to become accustomed to.
Examining the angels face, the demon could hardly believe her son had brought home an angel. It was something she didn't think was possible. "Aww you're very pretty Chanhee, and cute, I bet you get that a lot." She giggled, feeling her hands pulled away.
Younghoon had noticed Chanhee's wincing, and already knew that his mum would forget about the marks. She didn't get much chance to interact with angels, so it's something she didn't think about. "You're going to leave a mark." He stated.
"Shoot! Oh I'm sorry, I completely over looked that." She apologized, resting her arms at her side. "I'll be more careful from now on, you angels are fragile."
"Anyway, mum, this is Juyeon, and that's Kevin. I'll explain later why they're here." Younghoon commented, pointing at the two creatures who were standing at the side.
His mother gasped, seeing the second angel. Bringing one was surprising, but bringing two, she couldn't even process it. "Now how are two angels so close to my son? I thought there was a big divide in the city."
Both angels glanced at each other, feeling a little awkward about how this all came to be. Chanhee surely couldn't talk about how he ran away, then hooked up with Younghoon at a club, then ran away again, and hooked up with Younghoon at his apartment, then Kevin had to rescue him, or else he'd probably have been killed by his father. No, it was better to keep that story to themselves.
"Life's weird sometimes." Kevin muttered, letting out an awkward laugh.
"Ah yes it can be. I'm Seojun by the way, and friends of Younghoon are always welcome."

The sun set rather quickly, since it was around late afternoon when the group arrived. After a delicious home cooked dinner, and some heartwarming stories about Younghoon's father, everyone headed to bed.
Younghoon's room was quite small, which made sense, considering the whole house was small. There was just enough room for a double bed, a chest of drawers, and a few shelves. The walls were a similar dark gray, to the ones in his apartments, with a few random band posters spread across them.
Settling down, on the demons bed, Chanhee waited for Younghoon to finish up downstairs. He was getting blankets, and pillows for his friends, who were staying in the living room tonight. There was only three bedrooms in the house, one for Younghoon, one for his parents, and one for his sister, so Kevin and Juyeon had to sleep on the sofa. Seojun had offered up Yoonah's room, Younghoon's sister, since she was staying at her friends house. But the boys refused, feeling weird to invade the girls private space.
With a few heavy footsteps, Younghoon collapsed onto the bed, resting his head in Chanhee's lap. The angel immediately began stroking the boys dark locks, knowing that he was probably exhausted from today.
"I don't know how I'm going to cope with tomorrow. I have to be strong for my family, but I don't think I'll be able to keep myself together." Younghoon said, worry lacing his voice.
"Stop thinking like that, it's your dads funeral, you're allowed to be upset. They wouldn't want you to hold back your emotions, all they need is you beside them." Chanhee replied, feeling the demon sit up from his lap. Moving the covers, he let Younghoon climb under them, snuggling into the demons chest. "Just get some sleep, everything's going to be alright."
