[TW- Violence]

Juyeon spun around the foyer, looking for any sign of the creature. A flash of dark clothing from the balcony, caught Juyeon's eyes. There surely wouldn't be any guests here, who weren't in formal attire, so it had to be him. Sprinting to the stairs, the demon ran up each step, eventually reaching the balcony. He could easily spot the man wandering into the backrooms of the venue, a behavior Juyeon mirrored.

It was completely empty back there, since most of the staff were busy making sure everything was perfect downstairs. Speed walking down the corridors, Juyeon made sure to keep a good distance between them, in attempt to not get caught. As he was about to turn the last corner, he hesitated, seeing the man being led into a room down that corridor.

Taking quiet steps, Juyeon stopped beside, what looked like a storage room. He leaned himself against the door, listening in to the conversation taking place.

"Once you get the signal, I want a clear shot to the head. You'll be paid more if it's instantaneous."

Shot to the head? Juyeon had to hold back his gasp. He had no idea what they were talking about, but knowing the creature inside, it wasn't looking good.

"Understood sir, your son will be dead before he gets the chance to say I do."

"He better be."

Juyeon's breath hitched, hearing those words. He couldn't believe that Chanhee's father had hired someone to kill him, that was insane. The demon didn't have long to process the information though, as he heard footsteps coming towards the door. Running down the hallway, he hid at the corner of the wall, peeking round to watch three men exit the room.

Chanhee's father, and his henchman, headed the opposite direction of Juyeon, but that creature, he was heading straight for him. Thousands of thoughts raced through Juyeon's mind as he waited for the man to approach, of course he could have, and probably should have, gone to tell Chanhee. Yet, he wasn't sure if he'd be able to, so many things could happen in between this moment. He had to do something now, his friends life depended on it.

 "Lurking are we, Juyeon."

"Seems like it, Donghyun."

The demon brushed past, not sparing a single thought to why Juyeon was hanging about. It kind of shocked the latter, but Donghyun really was full of himself.

"Hey stop!" Juyeon shouted. "What the hell are you doing here?"

Donghyun plastered a smug smile on his face, as he turned to Juyeon. "Just a bit of business, you wouldn't of happened to overhear that little conversation, would you?"

The demon reached towards his pocket, slowly revealing the trigger of a gun, and nothing more. Juyeon gulped, feeling a rush of adrenaline throughout his body. He didn't want to wait for Donghyun to pull out the full thing, so he took charge.

Latching onto Donghyun's wrist, Juyeon struggled to free the gun from the demons grasp. He dug his nails into Donghyun's fingers, doing anything he could, to make him drop the gun.

"Fuck off Juyeon!" Donghyun screamed, using his free hand to pull Juyeon off him, but it wasn't working.

Feeling as if he was losing strength, Juyeon dipped down, level to the wrist, biting mercilessly down on the demons skin. He could taste the metal, as his teeth were laced in blood.

"Ahhh you prick!" Donghyun yelped, dragging his wrist away from Juyeon's mouth. In doing so, his skin was basically torn away, revealing a patch of red blood vessels, pouring blood down his arm.

In the fuss, the gun had fallen out of Donghyun's pocket, flinging to the side of the corridor. Juyeon spat out the skin, immediately rushing over to grab the weapon.

As he was about to reach the gun, the demon was pulled back by Donghyun, who delivered a harsh punch to the boys lower abdomen. Folding in half, Juyeon choked on the intense pain, soon receiving more, in the knee he took straight to the face.

"You shouldn't have messed with me!" Donghyun shouted, picking up the gun.

Juyeon froze, feeling the cold barrel pressed up to his temple. He knew that pleading wouldn't work, nor fighting, he just had to hope for a miracle.

"Hey asshole!"

Without a second thought, Donghyun turned to face the voice. Barely processing the 'angel' in front of him, his head was smashed over with a glass vase, leaving him unconscious on the ground.

"How about for next time, you don't go fight a guy with a gun on your own." Hyunjae stated, in a far too casual tone.

"Mm noted." Juyeon groaned, still recovering from his injuries.

"Now tell me what the hell just happened."

"He wouldn't actually kill you, he's your dad." Changmin said, buttoning up the last few buttons of his shirt.

Chanhee scoffed at the angel, lifting his arms up, as Binna, the fitter, slid on the boys white suit jacket. "I beg to differ, there's a lot of stuff you guys don't know."

"Well he's the governor of the city, he can't hate demo-" Changmin paused, noticing the death glares both angels were shooting at him. Actually being aware for once, Changmin changed up the trajectory of his sentence. "He can't hate that guy, that much."

"And how did you feel about, 'that guy', a few weeks ago?" Kevin questioned, obviously referring to Changmin's hatred of dark creatures. "I honestly believe that man would put his honor, over his own sons life, even though there's nothing honorable about him." He added, scowling at the thought of Chanhee's father.

Binna had tried not to listen in, since the boys were seemingly having such an intimate conversation. Though doing it right in front of her, it became almost impossible not to listen. Clenching the last piece of Chanhee's outfit, Binna started to piece together the visible red flags. She decided that it might be beneficial for Chanhee to know the truth about the corset.

"Um Chanhee, remember when I told you there was something special about this corset." Binna said, watching all boys switch their attention to her. "It's enchanted, or some would say cursed. So that when you put it on, you can't leave."
