With heavy blinks, the angels eyes slowly opened, seeing nothing but blank white surrounding him. Pushing himself up, he glanced down at his chest, running his fingers over the bullet hole, that was no longer there. He wonders if this was all a dream, though if it was, wouldn't he be waking up in the real world? Not in this strange space, he currently found himself it.
Flinching, Chanhee noticed a figure come into sight. A slim, and incredibly beautiful women, draped in a gorgeous white dress, wandered over to Chanhee. She bent down to his level, seemingly inspecting the boys features, before a gentle smile tugged at her cheeks.
"Oh it is you Chanhee." She sang, her voice sweet, like a melody. "I can't believe I get to meet you."
Furrowing his brows, Chanhee crawled back a little, feeling a little nervous being around this woman. "Where am I? What's going on? Who are you?"
"So many questions, but they must be answered." The woman chuckled, settling herself on the ground. "Right now you're in a space between life, and the after life, we call it the 'inter realm.' A place where creatures go, when they're dead."
"Dead?! No I can't be." Chanhee yelped, pulling his knee's into his chest. Throwing his head down, he tried to push it all away. He convinced himself that this was all a bad dream, and that things were going to be alright.
"Aww Chanhee." The woman sighed, gently placing her hand upon the boys head. "It's hard to accept, but just listen to what I have to say-"
"I don't even know who you are?!" Chanhee snapped, pushing his head further into his knees.
The woman began stroking the boys head, letting out few sighs whilst she did. "My name is Lucilla, I'm sure you've heard all about me." She said, almost sounding sad.
Chanhee's breath hitched, immediately lifting his head. Now he was definitely dreaming, this couldn't actually be the Lucilla, could it?
"I want to talk to you Chanhee, if you'll let me." Lucilla observed Chanhee's hesitant nod, giving her the go ahead. "I've watched everything you've done these past months, and I must say that you've been through a lot. It wasn't easy, but the courage you've showcased, is truly commendable."
"Well I'm still dead, so..." Chanhee muttered, feeling his hands taken by the woman. She rubbed her fingers over his own, which somehow made him feel a little better.
"It's rough, though being alive isn't much easier. I spent years letting my pain destroy me, after losing my love. You can't even imagine what that demon is feeling right now." Lucilla said. Her affectionate gaze fell upon the angel, who's idle eyes seemed infatuated by what the woman was saying. "And for you, being here, only able to wonder how your love is coping, praying with all your might that he won't end up like me. There's nothing good about this, but that's where I come in."
Chanhee heart was aching, hearing the devastating truth of the situation that he was in. Yet, that last part took his focus, as he cocked his head at the angel.
"Life isn't fair, everyone knows that. Though, I think you deserve better than this. That's why I'm going to send you back-"
"How can you do that?"
"The worlds magic Chanhee, don't question it."
A chuckle slipped Lucilla's lips, as she brought her hand up to the angels cheek. Rubbing that soft patch of skin, she smiled excitedly at him. "Now lets get you back, everyone's very sad."

Kevin's head fell into the angels chest, his sorrowful sobs muffling in the stained fabric. The room was still silent, the heavy tension reaching every corner of the library. What was there to do? Chanhee was dead, and they had all just witnessed the murder. It was unthinkable, a father killing his own son, yet that's exactly what happened.
A sudden sound of clacking foot steps, erupted through the room. Everyone watched as the fairy sprinted towards the boy, pausing once arriving at his lifeless body. Slapping her hand over her mouth, Eunji let a few tears trickle down her face. Her eyes wandered to Kevin, who was still hysterically crying, and Younghoon who looked almost emotionless, but with visible tear stained cheeks.
Spinning on her heals, the fairy's eyes darted around the room, soaking in the silent tears, and shocked expressions. She felt almost to blame for Chanhee's death, it was her who brought him back, it was her who was meant to protect him.
"We need to get you boys out of here..." Eunji chocked, her voice cracking as she spoke. Looking up to the balcony, she gestured to the demons on the camera. "It's not safe, who knows what the governor plans now."
Hurrying over to Kevin, she placed her hand on his shoulder, immediately feeling it shrugged off.
"I'm not leaving him." Kevin cried, gripping tighter onto Chanhee's shirt.
"You have to-"
"I said I'm not leaving him!" Kevin screamed. "I don't care what happens to me...I'll never leave him."
Closing her eyes, Eunji took in a deep breath. She was trying to keep her composure, since she was responsible for these boys, she couldn't just breakdown.
"I'm not leaving either." Younghoon stated, staring coldly at the fairy. "Let me stay with him for just a bit longer."
"Fine, but we'll need to go soon."
Peering down, Younghoon blankly traced over the angles soft features, resting his finger on his pale lips. It was starting to sink in, that he'd have to go on, without Chanhee. Something so unimaginable, something so devastating. He'd never loved anyone the way he loved this angel, he didn't think it would ever be possible, to love someone the same way.
So caught up in his thoughts, Younghoon almost missed the shallow breath fanning over his finger...but he didn't.
Without warning, he lifted Chanhee's body up, to the surprise of everyone around. Sitting the angel up, still in his arms, he saw that chest moving clear as day.
Kevin's heart beat increased rapidly, as his head snapped towards the fairy. Two figures quickly approached from behind her; the two demons who had just gotten down there.
Not one person in that room could believe what they were seeing, all gathering around to marvel at the life flooding back to Chanhee.
With a gaping breath, Chanhee's eyes burst open. He took heaving breaths, instantly locking gaze with the bewildered demon. Frantically lifting his hand, Chanhee dragged it along his chest; no bullet hole, and it was for real this time.
"You're alive!" Kevin screamed, throwing his arms over the angel. Such force that he was knocked out of Younghoon's arms, and Kevin was now laying a top him.
"I guess I am." Chanhee giggled, equally wrapping his arms around his friend.
"Alright enough." Eunji commanded, dragging Kevin off of Chanhee. "I don't know what miracle has just happened, but lets be careful with him."
Chanhee had the biggest smile looking at Eunji, who returned the smile with a hint of annoyance. Of course Chanhee was going to come back to life, crazy things just seem to happen to the boy.
"I'll explain everything later." Chanhee said, turning his head towards Younghoon. Slowly he crawled over to the demon, kneeling down in front of him.
Slinking his hand around the angels neck, he pulled their faces together, connecting their lips for a sweet passionate kiss. Those familiar sparks rushed through his body, reminding him to never let himself lose the angel ever again.
"I love you." He muttered, pulling away from the kiss. Their foreheads rested against one anothers, as their fingers intertwined.
"I love you too."
What happened that day was insane, from misery to miracles, in a matter of minutes. It was something you could only find in fairy tales, but sometimes life could feel more like myth than reality.
"Okay stop with the sappy shit, let's fucking celebrate."
"Oh my god Hyunjae, shut up." Juyeon sighed.
"Nah Juyeon, I don't think I will. The whole world just watched the governor kill his son, and it's all thanks to this awesome camera man. I deserve to celebrate."
"I was literally there too-"
"Yep, all me."
