"What's the rush boys? stick around, play a couple games."
The deep voice sent chills down Kevin's spine, he didn't know why, but he started to feel really scared. Not even the protection of three demons, made him feel better, he just wanted to go home.
"Can't, Hyunjae's big mouth got us kicked out again." Younghoon replied, the excuse was pretty believable, since it had happened many times before, and multiple times when Donghyun was present.
"I see, Mr. Park's not putting up with shit tonight, gotta be on my best behavior then." Donghyun laughed, strolling towards the pool hall. He had a few other creatures with him, who all followed behind.
Hyunjae let out a sigh of relief, while Younghoon gestured to Juyeon, signalling that he could take Kevin to the car. He grabbed a hold of the angels wrist, ready to sprint to the car that was parked at the front of the pool hall, but quickly hesitated, when he glanced at Younghoon again. The demon made one sharp swiping motion across his neck, before shoving his hand back in his pocket.
"What's going on?" Kevin whispered, feeling his body pressed against the cold brick.
"Hey Younghoon, did you see any angels in there?"
Juyeon tensed up hearing Donghyun's question, squinting his eyes out of frustration. This action only made Kevin more worried, was this demon a danger to angels? He'd surely been too lucky to meet three perfectly kind, well 2, and sort of half for Hyunjae, demons, who didn't want to hurt angels.
"Nope, don't think angels hang out in places like this." Younghoon said, hoping Donghyun would just drop it, though he already knew he wouldn't.
Donghyun wrinkled his nose, sniffing the air a couple times. "Fuck, I really think I smell an angel. My boys are searching the pool hall, so I thought I'd come ask you guys."
"Well we haven't seen an angel and we were in there for a while." Hyunjae insisted.
"Hmm shame, I was almost getting excited." Donghyun commented, brushing his hand threw his red locks.
Younghoon could've scowled at the comment, but held back to avoid any arguments. He hated Donghyun, more than anyone else in the city. He knew what he did to angels, it disgusted him, and even more after starting his relationship with Chanhee.
"I'll go back in, see you guys around." Donghyun said, swiftly turning on his heels. He walked about three steps, soon stopping when a wave of scent hit his nose. His sensed it coming from his left, so he turned his head, eyes meeting with Juyeon, who ducked away.
"Donghyun, I've actually changed my mind, I could go for some more rounds." Younghoon had noticed where Donghyun was looking, but wasn't sure if he had seen Juyeon. So, he tried to cause a distraction.
An evil smile was plastered on Donghyun's face as he turned to Younghoon. He roughly patted the demons shoulder, staring intensely into his eyes. "Juyeon's brought an angel downtown, who would have guessed his move had some perks for me?"
"There's no angel." Younghoon said through gritted teeth. He felt Donghyun grip onto him, digging his nails into his shoulder.
"I think you're lying to me." Donghyun hissed.
You could cut the tension with the knife, something big was about to happen. Though for Hyunjae, this was actually quite funny. He loved drama, and he knew Donghyun stood no chance against Younghoon. So he would probably call out his boys, then a big fight would break out. It would be pretty entertaining. Unfortunately, he'd lost track of his thoughts, he couldn't have any of that fun, since he needed to protect Kevin.
