Stuffing the book under his arm, Chanhee knew he had to get out of there. He could hear footsteps trailing towards the library, at this rate, he was going to get caught. With no thought, Chanhee ran towards the open window, debating whether he should jump or not. One glance back, his eyes locked with 'The book of the freeland', there was no way he was letting that get destroyed, knowing how important it was to history.
Chanhee ran to the pedestal, grabbing the book resting on top. As he headed back to the window, the door slightly creaked open, but Chanhee didn't stick around, he took the leap. He was glad the library was on the ground level, as he didn't really feel like dying right now. With no idea where to go, Chanhee just ran straight ahead, understanding that he had to get as far away from the library as he could. Once they found the books missing, they'd surely be on the hunt for who stole them.
Chanhee came to a screeching halt, stumbling over his feet, as he stepped back. There was no where else to run, he was literally in the clouds. If he kept going, he'd have no guarantee that he'd make it to the ground safely. Glancing around, Chanhee felt a rush of relief, seeing the firefly's fluttering towards him. It was a good thing they weren't messing around like earlier, Chanhee really needed to go.
Just like they did last time, the firefly's engulfed Chanhee in a whirlwind, transporting him back to where he was meant to be. Rain poured through the trees, soaking the angel in an instant. He stuffed both books under his pajama shirt, hoping that they wouldn't get damaged from the rain. Looking around the woodland, he still had no idea which way to go, but it was much scarier this time. As Chanhee was now holding two of the most important books to ever exist, and had only acquired them, by theft.
"Which way is the cottage?" Chanhee asked, directed to the one remaining firefly buzzing around him.
The firefly blinked it's light three times, almost as a signal for Chanhee to follow it. Shooting off into the trees, Chanhee had to keep a fast pace, to not lose sight of the firefly. Which proved quite difficult, since the ground was very slippery due to the rain, and he was only in slippers. Fortunately for him, he managed to keep up, eventually arriving back at the cottage.
Before going inside, the angel chucked his muddy slippers somewhere in the woods, not wanting anyone to know he went out. He took quiet steps through the house, making it up to the bedroom, where he stashed the two books into his luggage. Finally safe, Chanhee collapsed onto the floor, letting out a sigh of relief. He could now reflect on everything he learnt tonight, and how unbelievable it all seemed. He'd actually been to the great library of the saints, and even stole two books from it, that's not really something people easily do. Plus, he found out that he was Lucilla's heir, meaning he probably had a rough road ahead of him. Though, he still pondered that one thing, something he just couldn't work out. Who was that person written in the book above his name? It wasn't either of his parents, so what did that mean?

"He's a demon!"
Jacob furrowed his eyebrows, staring at the lively angel. One minute, he was just sitting peacefully, reading his book, enjoying the quiet. Then the next, Changmin was sprinting up to him, spouting nonsense, about a demon? This wasn't unusual for Changmin, he did come out with some random things, but Jacob just wanted to relax, he'd had a long morning.
"Whose a demon?" Jacob asked, placing his book down on the table. "Also this is a library, so let's keep a respectful volume."
Changmin harshly yanked the chair across from Jacob, creating a loud ear wrenching squeak, that caught the attention of most library goers. As Jacob said a few quiet apologies, Changmin jumped onto the chair, leaning himself nearly half way across the table.
"Jaehyun, it's Jaehyun, he's a demon!" Changmin squealed, ignoring the judgmental glances he got from the people around him.
Clasping his hands together, Jacob let out a little laugh. The angel must have been joking, since Jacob knew that Jaehyun wasn't a demon. "And how do you know this?" Jacob asked, playing into the joke.
"I went with Haknyeon downtown, after his parents kicked him out for dating a demon. Though, I think that's really unfair, considering Sunwoo is really nice, and Hak should be able to love whoever he wants." Changmin ranted, garnering confused looks from Jacob. This was the same boy who he thought hated dark creatures, and now he was all for angel/demon relationships, it was big character development.
"So anyway, I stayed for the night, and drank some really funny juice, that made me all wavy, and wobbly. But I was still aware enough to see this guy called Hyunjae, and he had red eyes. I was like WOAH! you look just like this angel I know, and he was like 'Yeah I am that angel'." Changmin mimicked Hyunjae's cocky voice, which caused Jacob to chuckle.
"Probably thinking I'd forget or something, to be fair, I did pass out right after." Changmin added, scratching the back of his neck. Truthfully, he wasn't sure if it was a hallucination, or not, but it was worth telling Jacob, since he trusted himself.
Jacob sat there a bit speechless, not really knowing how to respond to that. If it was a joke, Changmin was really committing to it. Though if it wasn't, he couldn't trust what the angel said, he literally admitted to being really drunk.
"I'm telling you Jacob, he's a demon. Hasn't there been any times where you doubted him?" Changmin questioned, trying his best to get Jacob to believe him. No one really took him seriously, which he didn't mind, but he very much needed Jacob to now.
"I'm not sure, I guess he's a little mischievous at times, but that's not solely a demon thing." Jacob said, thinking back to the other day with Sangyeon. "Also, if he's a demon, wouldn't he mark me?"
Changmin scrunched his face, thinking through that point. It kind of sparked something in his head, like he knew something more, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. "OH! Wait! I remember!" He shouted, excitedly bouncing up and down in his seat. "He's not full demon, I heard Sunwoo teasing him about that."
"Well that would make sense why he doesn't mark me, but he looks like an angel, I don't think that's possible to fake." Jacob responded, being slightly swayed by Changmin. He still had faith in Jaehyun though, his boyfriend wouldn't lie to him, would he?
Tapping his fist against his palm, Changmin thought super hard. He was convinced Jaehyun was a demon, so he needed to convince Jacob of the same. "He could be some sort of shape shifter, I don't know, okay! I just need you to stay away from him, I don't want him using you, and then breaking your heart."
"Using me?"
"You know what I'm talking about..." Changmin paused, glancing around the room for a second. Leaning in close to the table, the angel was the quietest he'd ever been, when he whispered. "Sex."
Gritting his teeth, Jacob formed an awkward smile, veering his eyes away from Changmin. "Oh um, it's a little too late for that." He muttered.
