Sameer slept all day long, but his headache and fever were long gone when he woke up. Guess he needed rest from all the work he had been doing, maybe he should have sat down and decided to find a day in a month to take a rest from work. Stress is never good on anyone, it is by far the most common cause of Ill health in our society.
After Sameer woke up from his sleep which was by 5:14pm, he took a long bath and wore something comfy. He then said his zuhr and asr prayers before moving out of his apartment. Mainly because he was hungry and also because he needed to get out of bed to regain his strength. Hidaya was a long forgotten case on his mind.
Sameer followed the kitchen door instead of the corridor door into the main house because it was closer and also because that was where his necessity was.
He found two of the maids there and informed them about his demanding stomach. The maids though were too surprised to have answered him, like what happened to them not allowed to meet him if possible? But then he was the one who followed them where they were so it shouldn't be a problem for them.
One of them managed to nod before Sameer turned to the door that led deeply into the house. That was when he bumped into someone.
"Goggo sannu, I didn't see you coming" Sameer said as he helped her to steady her balance. "I'm fine" Goggo replied. "What's the hurry though?" Sameer asked. "A girl fainted, I'm here to get some water" Goggo replied. "A girl? Where?" Sameer asked again. "Falon baƙi (guest's living room)" Goggo replied before moving into the kitchen, she believed he wouldn't ask any other question.
Sameer walked to the guest's parlour, hunger long forgotten as curiosity had already filled his stomach. He saw a laid body on the carpeted floor and a maid beside it so he moved forward to take a closer look at the person.
Sameer was surprised to see her and at the same time scared if he had started imagining stuffs about the so-called mall girl.
"Hidaya" He whispered to himself before blinking trice just to check if it really was her. Normally, Sameer wouldn't be as confused to have needed to blink his eyes but when it comes to her, he knew he would be confused. After all she was the one who had been interrupting his mind at every single opportunity she got. Sameer though didn't know what to call the feeling but he was certain that it was driving him crazy.
"Is there any guest room available?" Sameer asked the maid. "Y...yes sir" The maid stammered. "Lead me there" Sameer said before picking Hidaya's laid body in his arms to follow the maid.
"Where are you taking her?" Goggo asked coming into the parlour. "Guest room" Sameer replied and Goggo nodded. Even though he had a zillion questions as to what Hidaya was doing in their house, he saved it in his mind and decided to do the right thing at the right moment.
