Water moved smoothly and slowly down his skin, he liked the feeling because it helped calm his nerves, it helped him to think straight and it also helped him feel like everything will be okay. Even though the soap foam had been washed away from his body, he still stayed under the shower to enjoy that feeling.

Satisfied, Sameer offed the shower, exited the shower cubicle, grabbed a towel from the towel rail before wrapping it round his torso.

The sun had risen long ago, darkness had embraced light. Rays of light gushed through the white cirrus clouds eluminating into the room through the opened windows.

Sighing, he walked into the closet and chose a brown tuxedo with a matching pant which he paired with white t-shirt, brown neck tie and a matching pair of shoes. He was getting ready for the office.

Looking at himself in the mirror, Sameer felt all those emotions coming back with full force, everything was not going fine. Days of agony, sadness, heartbreak and deception, even though they were mere four days. He knew he had no right to feel deceived, but he did, call him selfish or anything, he actually felt deceived.

Sameer hated it when people walk away from his life. Abby left suddenly and Hidaya left too without saying goodbye, though he didn't blame her for that. It is said that, no matter how much you love and care for someone, you end up being separated. He couldn't help but think where Hidaya was, how she was doing, has she finally revived from her coma? was she happy? were they treating her well? or the vice versa of everything listed.

It was okay for Sameer to feel unsecured because his feelings for her were no jokes, they were genuine and he was ready to do anything to have her. Unknown to him that he'll lose everything before he even get to where he thought he'd be. Sometimes he blamed himself for not mentioning it to her, even once. If she was gone, he would then be assured that she'll try looking for him when she wakes up.

But even so, Sameer didn't lose hope, he believed if they were destined together then they'd definitely meet again.

And as for his family affairs, it was also on a drastic change. Hasna was still sad, broken and lost, not that he also wasn't but she lost concentration on almost everything. Even though they kept on with their facade because of the fact that Naeem's informant was nowhere to be found, she was still finding it difficult to be the normal daughter she used to be to Aama.

Sameer made sure they eat breakfast together before leaving for office and also made sure they eat dinner together when he returns but even if no one tells him, he knew she doesn't eat lunch because he wasn't there to force her into eating.

Ignoring all the random thoughts he had, Sameer moved to the front of his mirror and sprayed his perfume. He picked his phones, laptop and bunch of keys before sauntering out of the room, making sure to lock the door. He tend to lock his doors always at that time because he lost trust in all the people living in the house, they could easily take things from his room which might implicate him or even worse, keep something that might harm him. Living with deception makes you wary of all cunning people around you.

Sameer stopped by Hasna's door and knocked. Not long, she opened the door cladded in her lengthy hijab.

"Good morning Ya Sameer" Hasna greeted with her now famous fake smile. Sameer was already getting used to the fake smiles she always tried hard to do for him. He didn't let her understand that he knows they were fake because he didn't want her to stop trying, At least if she fake smiles everyday for a long while, she'll eventually do a genuine one.
