When she heard Yeji's innermost thoughts, Jennie expressed her admiration!

The Manoban Family was wealthy in properties and assets but Yeji was a person with lofty dreams and aspirations.

Country Z was powerful and prosperous. When the neighboring smaller countries were having difficulties living out their days, they would come and ask for help from Country Z. There were frequent wars as the few ethnic group heads from the bordering western frontier constantly staged armed rebellions in the name of religion.

Being one of the children from the wealthy and prominent families in the South China Sea, Yeji did what she could to defend her country, compelling others to think highly of her and her actions.

"It's unfortunate that I do not have any medical expertise nor do I know anything about the military. Otherwise, I would go to the front lines with you to achieve my own worth!"

Jennie spoke from her heart.

Her background was in liberal arts so part of her line of work was writing manuscripts and getting the news around. She loved to read since young hence had enrolled to study journalism and liberal arts and randomly picked this profession.

Since the Kim Family was wealthy, they did not look to her to support the family regardless of how well she did in her studies.

Now it looked like she had been short-sighted with her ambitions.

After speaking to Yeji, she felt more inclined to get a stable and worthy job. Regardless of how things were to work out between her and Lisa in the future, she would not risk starving herself to death.

Yeji pondered for a while, before smiling and said, "You could be a war correspondent!"

The Blue Sea and Sky Clubhouse was one of the Manoban Family's subsidiary private estates.

Lisa and Jisoo raised their glasses of red wine and toasted.

If Lisa's attractiveness was said to be the most handsome man in this day and age, then Jisoo would be the most charming devil!

Their time in the army nurtured their tough nature. After things settled down and returned to normal, they replaced their military uniforms with their own luxury clothes. Despite that, their ambiguous righteous and evil persona still showed as part of their charm and beauty!

The two exceptionally handsome men sipped their wine. Observers had their hearts and souls stirred seeing the men's charm. Women who glanced at them had half of their souls stunned in less than five seconds!

These two good-looking men appeared resolutely more handsome when they were drinking together!

Jisoo noticed Lisa's somber and dark expression despite sipping a glass of 1982 Laffite. He knew that something must be on his mind.

"Young Mistress has already returned, so why do you still look unhappy?"

Jisoo sneered and teased at Lisa through his wine glass.

"She hates me deep down in her heart!" Lisa casually replied.

"She went to Woo-bin's gravestone today and sat before it for an entire day! I caught her and forced her to return but I'm worried that she will be sulking at home now!"

Lisa continued before gulping down half a glass of red wine in one go!

"So you dragged me from my hotel to see you drink your sorrows away?"

Jisoo had on an 'adding insult to injury' smile.

"Her family has been broken and scattered, and you had her imprisoned for two years so it would be strange if she does not hate you! If I was her, I would want to stab you with a knife when I wake up in the middle of the night!" Jisoo said frankly.

"You should have thought of this when you had her locked up! Now that she has returned, it's normal for her to despise you! Why don't you tell her the truth?"

Jisoo knew the inside story but he could not comprehend Lisa's actions!

Hearing Jisoo's words, Lisa's face was sullen.

He swayed the wine glass in his hand, the dark red liquid flickered under the alluring lights.

Lisa deliberated before he quietly said, "I don't want her to be like me and live in agony! Once I find Hanbin and take action on the necessary parties, I'll tell her!"

Seeing Lisa profoundly worked up, Jisoo felt envious!

At least Lisa had gotten worked up for a cause. But for him, he only had endless remorse towards a woman, and he did not even know her name!

Jisoo was slightly younger than Lisa but he was a popular target that young ladies of the famous families in the Capital City scrambled to possess. However, he has been living an ascetic life, no thanks to an emotional entanglement that happened three years ago!

Lisa vaguely knew bits and pieces of what happened and was only aware that Jisoo previously had a woman. This matter was like a minefield to Jisoo!

He regarded the woman with pain and remorse. Thus, nobody dared to mention or bring her up in front of him!

The litigant himself remained tight-lipped, and his close friends would never inquire about it.

"After so many years, you should find a woman as well and settle down!" Lisa quietly urged.

Jisoo cast a sidelong glance at Lisa and groaned, "Hmph! Aunty Manoban , when did you learn this hobby from the aunties who were always forcing marriage on me!"
