Hearing her sneeing again, Lisa became anxious.

"Jennie Manoban!"

Waa! Her full name had been called out.

What was it that people were most terrified of when they were young?

Their parents calling out their full name! This was because if one's full name was called out, they were sure to receive a beating.

Lisa no longer called her "Little Nini", which signaled impending danger.

"You know very well that I'm not a man with a good temper. If you continue to act childishly, my patience will soon run out."

Lisa lowered his voice and warned, the pupils in his eyes brimming with anger. His thin lips were curled downward, and his eyes were fixed on the annoying woman underneath the blanket.

The reckless woman snorted, taunting him even more.

She still would not listen to him!

Unable to quell the surging rage in him, Lisa reached his hands under the blanket and grabbed her collar, pulling her out.

Faced with such force, Jennie's hands swung around desperately as she shrieked, "What are you doing? "I said I don't want to drink it and that's final! If you want, you can have it all to yourself. I won't drink it no matter what..."

"Do you want to quietly drink it on your own, or do you want me to feed it to you? Hmm?" This man was getting a headache watching this woman lose her poise, only to act like like a commoner. A trace of helplessness flashed through his pretty eyes.

Lisa's voice was hoarse and deep as he suppressed the rage in his heart. His narrow eyes stared at the irksome woman as he issued his final warning. "You know... when a man feeds a woman medicine, there is one method that reigns supreme... If you'd like to try it, I don't really mind, but just note that it might not be as simple as feeding a bowl of ginger soup anymore..."

As he spoke, he swept a glance across the woman's chest, deliberately swallowing his saliva as he did so.

Jennie understood the meaning of "feed" from his gaze, and she shuddered at the thought.

Thinking back to how this man had persecuted her to this state, trapped her in this cage, and tyrannically taken her as his own personal plaything...

He forced her to sleep with him, forced her to take the medicine, and did not give her any rights to protest. All the negative emotions accumulating in her mind over the past few days broke out.

She took the bowl of ginger soup, pinched her nose, and finished the "poison" in one gulp.

When she had drunk all of it, Jennie gave the bowl back to him and said tearfully, "When I was in the Kim Family, my parents still gave me some form of respect, but being with you now is really no different to being in a cage. If I could leave you, then I'll never have to be bullied by you again!"

She pulled the blanket over herself as she lamented. Then, she covered her head and hid herself underneath it before beginning to snivel.

Lisa was stunned by the nonsense she had just spouted. This woman had actually been thinking of leaving him all this time? Just asking her to consume the medicine would cause her to throw such a fit?

It was probably not just because of the awful taste of the ginger soup.

There had been a barrier in her heart all this while, and the ginger soup was just the spark that ignited the fuse.

Thinking back to her initial return to the Manoban Family, she had been relatively cold toward everybody. Initially, he had thought if he treated her warmly and gently, that eventually, she would revert back to her original, joyous self. However, judging by her words today, she probably did not have any intention of spending her life with him wholeheartedly.

How frustrating! Lisa wanted to vent, but he realized that it was not the appropriate time. He was emotional at the moment, and she was pissed off. If they were to quarrel, he might accidentally hurt her...

Lisa forced himself to calm down. After some thinking, he suddenly recalled what Yan Jun had mentioned the other day.. "Aren't you afraid that Hanbin will delude Mistress?"
