Chapter 196

The public displays of affection between her brother and sister-in-law made Yeji feel as though she was being suffocated to death.

She lamented, "The world is so huge, yet there's
no place for a single person like me."

Jennie was amused by Yeji's sorrowful demeanor. She pinched Yeji's  little face and laughed as she said, "Wouldn't Yan Jiangsheng be a good choice? If you want to find yourself a partner, he's already said that he'll be there for you whenever you need him!"

Yeji rolled her eyes at Jennie, afraid that her brother who was next to her would overhear.

When he heard Yan Jiangsheng's name, Lisa snorted loudly before saying, "It looks like you still haven't stopped contacting that guy. Moreover, you've actually involved Little Nini now too?"

Jennie was shocked. Apparently, Lisa was the main culprit who was trying to break up this couple. It was not surprising that Yan Jiangsheng had a bad impression of him.

"I... I merely took Jenjen to get her hair done..." Yeji attempted to lie her way out of the situation.

"There are so many other places to get your hair done so why did you insist on going to him?" Lisa turned around and looked at Jennie's hair. He sounded annoyed as he said,

"It doesn't even look like he did anything!" Jennie and Yeji were both speechless. Then, Jennie mentally rolled her eyes dramatically and sighed aloud. What exactly did this arrogant man think was so great about himself?

"If you girls like that styling house, I'll just buy it for you. However, Yan Jiangsheng must go - after all, a seductive man like him will only harm naive fools like yourselves!" Lisa made a show of being earnest.

Suddenly, he took his phone out and called Yan Jun. "Go to Bewitched Moon. Fashion House and talk to their shareholders. I want to buy them over..."

Jennie and Yeji were dumbstruck.

Was this man being serious? Bewitched Moon Styling had more than ten branches in the Southeast Region. Although it was not just a piece of real estate, it would still be fairly simple to purchase the chain. Nonetheless, for it to exchange hands overnight was a bit over-the-top.

Yan Jun was holding his wife and child as they spent the eve of the Spring Festival together. From the district where he lived, he could see the night sky in Xi Shan illuminated by fireworks. He thought to himself about how his boss was truly a big shot because of the way he could immediately send a helicopter to clear the dust once the fireworks were over. He took the opportunity to take a breather and relax for awhile.

Mistress would probably get Young Master in a good mood during the Spring Festival. However, he had never imagined that his boss would suddenly want to purchase a chain of styling houses in the middle of the night - just as he was watching the fireworks too! "That... Young Master... Shouldn't you relax a little while you're celebrating the new year and wait until you're back at work..." Yan Jun boldly stated his opinion.

His heart was roaring its displeasure. He knew that he would be occupied for a long time if they were to take over someone else's company. Furthermore, Kang Yu was usually the one who handled the trivial matters in the office.

Yan Jun slapped his forehead and inwardly sighed before he said, "That boy Kang Yu is really sly. He hurriedly sneaked off to Phuket during the holidays. I was wondering why an unmarried person like him was so kind as to bring that blockhead Tian Qi along with him to go sunbathing. I can't believe it was so he could go into hiding!"

Upon hearing Yan Jun's reply, Lisa nodded slightly. This was a reasonable suggestion. He realized that it would be alright to delay the matter for a few days. Before he put the phone down, he mentioned to Yan Jun that he would get his butler to send someone to give his child a generous red packet tomorrow.

The cold sweat on Yan Jun's forehead had only just disappeared before he was unexpectedly struck by the magical words that were 'red packet'. Thus, he repeatedly thanked his boss before he put the phone down.

Jennie and Yeji were at a complete loss because they had no idea what to do. What would become of Yan Jiangsheng after the Spring Festival? Would he come back only to discover that all his executives had abandoned him, and that the only shareholder left in the company besides himself was his most despised person?

Moreover, did Lisa really mean it when he said that he was going to chase Yan Jiangsheng away?

Yeji miserably scowled before she turned to Jennie and whispered, "Quickly think of a way to subdue the big man!"

Jennie had never expected Mr Manoban to be so headstrong. Her head ached when she realized that her gossiping had stirred up trouble that she now had to desperately try to resolve.. She quietly consoled Yeji, "Don't worry, I have a honey trap!"
