She had a cold look on her face whilst her pride prevented anyone from getting near her.

She wore an expression that seemed to say that she had severed all emotional ties. This hurt Lisa deeply.

He thought that she would still be the same Jennie from before after her release.

He did not think that she would be abused in prison and became so cold after her ordeal. Moreover, Kai had been the one who stayed by her side during the two most difficult years of her life...
