The savage-looking grin on Nancy's face did not disappear.
"Collaborate? "I don't think I need it at this point in time.

"Who does she, Jennie Kim, think she is? She's been pursuing a man for more than ten years and shamelessly trying to win his heart. No matter Lisa will tire of her sooner or later!

"Furthermore, our goals do not align, so how are we supposed to collaborate?"

Hearing this, Taecyeon chuckled coldly. He moved in closer and casually sniffed at the floral fragrance on the woman.
"Looks like I've really underestimated Miss Mcdonie. You've done your homework well!

"Before entering the Manoban Family, you must've racked your brains to gather quite a sizeable amount of intel."

Nancy took a step back, feeling a disturbed by Taecyeon's close contact.

She grinned cynically. "The entire Manoban Family appears to be united, but is actually divided at heart. Y'all aren't close to each other, and your relationships are already rotten to the
core. I'm aware of all of this! Brother Taecyeon, you too must be feeling the imbalance, right?

"Old Mistress holds Third Young Master so dearly to her heart. I'm sure that you must feel uncomfortable even though you're Eldest Young Master. "Your life must not be easy considering you are suppressed by Lisa in everything you do!"

Nancy sneered contemptuously.

Taecyeon's expression suddenly changed. He snorted and remarked in a low voice, "The one who has the last laugh is the one who will have the best laugh! After I topple Lisa, then you'll
have no chance of becoming the Third Young Mistress!"

Nancy scowled and turned around to leave. "We'll just prep our own work separately and promise not to disturb each other then.

"If you fail to topple Lisa, I'll still become Third Young Mistress of the Manoban Family! Even if you do manage to topple Lisa, it won't matter to me. You think I only care about your Manoban
Family's status and money? What a joke!

Truth to be told, the Manoban Family is so rotten that it makes me feel disgusted! "Even if you beg me to stay here to be Third Young Mistress, I won't be willing to live under the same roof as
all of you. If Brother Lisa is willing, then l'll do anything it takes to get us away from this madness!"

Nancy's pretty face carried a fanatical smile.

Taecyeon looked at Nancy's back and fell deep into thought.

The look of this woman when she finally revealed her claws was rather interesting.

What she said was right, the Manoban Family was too rottern and complacent. This century-old aristocratic family had been keeping to the same conventional routine for years. It was time for an immense shake-up!

With this woman around, the century-old Manoban Family Mansion would not be as peaceful over the coming days...

Jennie was carried by Lisa back to Hibiscus Garden.

When Ah Fu saw the feeble mistress' flushed face still buried in Young Master's arms, the uninformed young lady went over and ignorantly asked,

"Why is the mistress' face so red? Did she catch a cold from the freezing wind?"

Jennie blushed and wanted to cry out of shame.
She snuggled against Lisa's arms and buried her face deeper into the darkness.

Lisa knew that the voice of the woman in his arms was hoarse and that she was feeling so weak that she did not dare utter a single word.

He ordered Ah Fu, "Go and make some food for Young Mistress. I'll take her to shower. Send the food to the bedroom later."

Ah Fu nodded. "Oh, ok!" Then hurriedly left for the kitchen to prepare.

During winter time, keeping warm in the small wooden building in Hibiscus Garden became a huge issue.

Fortunately, it was not cold in Luo Hai, and it stayed above 10 degrees Celcius all year round. It was only during rainy or windy days that there would be a chill in the air.

Before Jennie's return, Lisa was physically strong and was bubbling with Yang energy. Thus, he did not feel too cold.

However, now there was this delicate woman with him whose hands and feet were chilly all year round - it was asif they would not get warm no matter how hard one tried to heat them up.

Lisa filled the tub in the bathroom with warm water and poured some aromatherapy essential oil into it. Jennie was like a doll as she was placed into the tub. Her body was immediately stimulated by the hot water and she quivered a little.

"It's a bit hot..." She muttered softly.

Her fair skin quickly absorbed the benefits of the essential oil. Add this to the stimulation from the hot water, and her blood circulation sped up making her skin turn rosy.

"Tonight was somewhat chilly, and you weren't wearing a lot. Soak for a little while longer to get rid of the cold."
