Although Jennie loathed Lisa from the bottom of her heart because of the matters that involved the Kim Family, she realized that these were considered as normal as the ups and downs of the business world when she calmed down and carefully thought about it.

Moreover, since Woo-Bin had died in a car accident, what was the source of revenge?

When Hanbin saw that Jennie was puzzled, he used a furious tone and said, "Jenjen, our father died because of the Manoban Family! You were still young at that time so you don't understand many things!"

Hanbin took a deep breath and attempted to organize his jumbled train of thoughts to allow Jennie to understand him easier.

"The Manoban Family's hundred-year-old estate and their exploits throughout the ages should have been ruined at the hands of Dongwook! If it wasn't for our father, the members of the Manoban Family would have descended into hell long ago. I'd never imagined that they would bite the hand that fed them and destroyed the Kim Family!"

Jennie became confused when she heard this.

She had instinctively sensed that there was some history between the Kim Family and the Manoban Family but Mu Chenyan became momentarily dazed when Dongwook was mentioned.

She pulled Hanbin's lapel and whispered, "Brother, don't get riled up. Speak slowly and explain how this involves Dongwook..."

Hanbin's heart could not bear it anymore when he saw that Jenjen's face was filled with suspicion and fear.

When she was persecuted and imprisoned that year, Lisa had already secretly started to take action against the Kim Family at the same time. He had no time to attend to her simply because he was preoccupied with Woo-bin.

Now that she was standing before him unscathed today, he wanted to tell her to remain by the side of their enemy who killed their father so that they could avenge him. However, this was a cruel reality.

"Jenjen, tell your brother now, do you still love Lisa?"

Hanbin suddenly opened his mouth and said. He held Jennie's shoulder before a hint of helplessness flashed across his gloomy handsome eyes as he said, "If you still love him, you don't have to take part in the revenge.

"You can just return as 'Mrs Manoban'. However, if he kills me one day, please remember that we loved each other as siblings and help your brother bury his body, alright?"

When Hanbin spoke with immeasurable sadness, Jennie's skinny shoulders could not stop trembling. The feelings that she had calmed down with much difficulty now quivered again before she emotionally hugged Hanbin and said, "Brother, what nonsense are you talking about? Why would you die?"

Hanbin gritted his teeth and whispered, "Jenjen, if you still love Lisa, I can only do this to sacrifice myself for you. I won't drag you into this so you won't have to know about the things that happened in the past."

Jennie's complexion instantly turned much paler. Her eyes could not focus. Lisa's unique handsome looks that depicted him in his prime appeared in one half of her mind. Meanwhile, her dead father and wounded mother who were part of the reality of her ruined family appeared in the other half of her mind...

She truly had no way to resolve this issue.

"Brother, don't ask me that question. Whether I love him or not, what does that have to do with these things you're saying? Tell me, what actually happened between our father and the Manoban Family?"

On one hand, Jennie was submerged in the joy and excitement of seeing her brother but she was also starting to be entangled with the fact that she could not distance herself from Lisa because they had an inseparable relationship. Moreover, she had become even more gloomy because her brother had recently said some cryptic things that were difficult to understand.

Hanbin could see Jennie's conflict and pain. He hugged Jennie's shoulders and bitterly said, "Jenjen, if you still love him, just pretend that I didn't say anything. I came to see you just to bid farewell..."

The corners of Hanbin's eyes were red while his stern face actually hinted that he was determined to meet his end.

His words had greatly affected Jennie. She was so frightened that she burst into shrieks before she exerted all her strength and hugged Hanbin's waist as if she was afraid that he would actually die.

Her tears started flowing as if they were a string that had snapped but Jennie loudly wailed, "No! Brother, don't scare me like this! I don't want you to die. You and I are the only two children left in the Kim Family so what will happen to me if you die? What will happen to our mother?"

"Brother, don't force me to do this! I can't just act like a spectator if you really take revenge..."
