Excitement filled Nancy's heard the moment she heard this suggestion. A split second later, she timidly cast a questioning gaze in Lisa's direction.

She was worried that Lisa would decline, but she was also filled with hope. When Jennie saw her in that entangled state, she felt as if she was looking at herself from more than a decade ago.

Lisa's handsome face was shrouded in the darkness, but the deep expression he wore made this man look even more enchanting.
However, there was an indescribable coldness hidden behind his seemingly normal appearance.

Nancy was both bewitched and lost in his eyes.

When he heard that his grandmother had arranged for them to go together, the soft orange lights that reflected off Lisa's face could not hide his hesitation.

Lisa was worried that he would not get to visit Liu Li Villa if he declined.

"Brother Lisa, I won't go if you don't agree."

Nancy's agreeable, sensible, and understanding manner easily won both men and women over.

"It sounds like a really good idea to me. Since Nancy has just arrived in Luo Hai, it definitely won't be safe for her to go alone because she's unfamiliar with the place and the people. Thus, it'd be good if Lisa accompanied her."

While Lisa was gloomily silent, Jennie suddenly
answered on his behalf.

Her tone hinted at her annoyance.

Lisa sat there while his eyes coldly scanned Jennie's extremely beautiful and delicate little face. His slender fingers were tightly gripped into a fist, clearly showing his large knuckles.

He could not understand why this woman was
making such a fuss.

Nancy had never imagined that Jennie would come to her aid. She was slightly suspicious and surprised, but since she could not understand Jennie's actions, she could only quietly observe the outcome.

"Jennie should come too! I heard Grandmother say that there'll be maple leaves at Wintry Lake in autumn, so I want to go there and sketch them. However, Grandmother suggested that Brother
Lisa should come along because the mansion belongs to him."

When Nancy mentioned this, she automatically distanced herself from her true desire of wanting to get close to the man.

Jennie knew that Somi had graduated from an art college and was originally studying to continue her studies in Italy. Could it be that her twin sister was also a lover of the arts?

Jennie's question was quickly answered by Lisa.

"Does Miss Mcdonie like drawing too? Where did you learn how to do so?"

Nancy was briefly shocked. When the words "Miss Mcdonie" escaped Lisa's lips, it always seemed distant and pitiful.

As Somi's twin sister, she lived with the Yuan Family just like her older sister. She was also adored by Old Mistress who had even thought of her as Somi all this while...

"Oh! My mother allowed me to learn for awhile while we were still financially stable when I was younger, but I wasn't as lucky as my sister. My sister learned everything about it since my
grandmother raised her as the daughter of a well-known family. I heard that my sister was even sent to study in Italy when she was young - I've only studied under a few local art college
teachers..." Nancy spoke while pitifully glancing at the old lady, making herself seem inferior.

"Somi was very talented!"

Old Mistress Manoban's eyes were filled with affection when she spoke of Somi. One could tell that Old Mistress clearly adored that girl more than she did Yeji..

Somi studied locally for eight years before she took up contemporary sketching and oil painting under an Italian art expert at the age of 14.

Furthermore, she had already developed a certain reputation in the art world by the age of 22. If not for her accident, her artwork would have been widely spread throughout most of northern Jiang Nan via various art exhibitions.
The Manoban Family was influential enough to have given her this boost.

It was truly impossible for Nancy to compare herself to her sister in this regard.

"Did Miss Mcdonie previously have much contact with Somi?" Lisa suddenly asked.

From what he knew, Somi would not have had much contact with her younger sister who had lived in City C all this time.

However, it looked like Nancy knew Somi very well. Moreover, they seemed to have a close sisterly relationship.

Logically speaking, they would not have had similar life experiences unless they were genuine twin sisters who shared an internal bond.
