From the angles both overtly or covertly, Taecyeon was jesting at her.
He was frustrated at his failure to make a move on her, so his words
were as spiteful as a sour grape.
Taecyeon knew that Hanbin had returned, so he must have
guessed that Jennie and Lisa maintained a close front, but
apart at heart. That was why he would provoke her with those words!
Seeing Xue Meiwei, Lu Shan, Minho, Yuna, and Zhuan spending time with Old Mistress, chatting away excitedly and
directing attention away from her, Jennie laughed coldly and
responded.
"I am, by law, a legal Mrs Manoban. Lisa is different from other
people. I only need to do my best to serve him, why would I need to be
tamed?"
Lisa was satisfied with his wife's answer. He stayed silent,
planning to observe the battle!
"We have always stood by our united front without a need to pretend
to love each other! If a man really loves his wife, then he should want
the best for her, not display affection publicly and abuse secretly!"
Jennie looked disinterested, but she was secretly livid at
someone like Taecyeon!
Jennie surmised that since he would treat Tzuyu the way he
did but still show affection in public, he must be afraid that Old
Mistress might find out!
Tzuyu was her friend. Even if she could not help Tzuyu to get out of
this toxic relationship, she could warn this man who was less than a
beast!
Tzuyu was shivering and dared not to look at Jennie. It was as if
she was the one making mistakes, not her husband.
Jennie was heartbroken. In the past, Tzuyu was one of the top
socialites in Luo Hai. Just because she was paired with a bad person,
she became the fearful person that she is today!
'If it weren't for that accident, she would've become a mother by now.'
At that thought, Jennie pitied her!
Lisa sat quietly on his chair. Hearing Taecyeon's provocation and
tone of voice, then witnessing Jennie's ability to rebuke him
without making a scene, the edges of his lips curled upward.
It was not that he did not want to help Jennie, but he did like
watching her reaching out with her claw like a tiny wild cat as it
satisfied his sense of twistedness.
His woman was not weak!
She had been suppressed for too long!
No matter in prison or in front of himself, she had always suppressed
her most evil side.
Sometimes, Lisa felt so sorry for her. Instead of suppressing her,
he would let her unleash her true self!
Taecyeon was so angry, it was as if smoke was
coming out of all of his
orifices. Jennie was making fun of his marriage with Tzuyu!
If that's the case, she might have guessed the situation between him
and Tzuyu, so Taecyeon dropped his pretense!
He laughed in a low growl. "Bantering adds a little flavor in our
marriage! Tzuyu likes it!"
As he was saying that, the man smiled at Tzuyu shamelessly.
The poor woman had been shivering the whole time. Her eyes were
filled with a swirly glint, and her fingers trembled lightly. It was
evident that she was torn between loving and hating him, but Tzuyu
knew how to restrain herself better than anyone else.
As for today, she kept suppressing the pain in her heart and pretend
not to understand anything!
Taecyeon stood up suddenly. He placed his hand onto Tzuyu's
shoulder and whispered, "Tzuyu-ya, tell them, don't you like my
treatment? Huh?"
Jennie could see Tzuyu's pale face and misty eyes, as well as
her fighting the urge to cry in situations like this.
A delicate and charming lady, reduced to this level where she could
not express her true feelings at all!
Jennie sighed, regretting that Tzuyu could not live up to her
full potential!
"Taecyeon, I will say this. Tzuyu is a good lady that is way above your
league!" Jennie was frustrated. At this point, she was clearly
angered by Taecyeon!
Hearing Jennie's exasperation, Taecyeon laughed silently.
"At least Tzuyu and my parents aren't fighting! Tzuyu wouldn't be
caught between love and hate!"
"Miss Kim is undoubtedly the magnanimous one. Even with the drama
between the two aristocratic families, you can still keep at your idea of
love, what a rare quality to have!"
"If it were me, I would have killed to make sure the other person
suffer."
Taecyeon smiled sinisterly! He was definitely trying to provoke her!
