Lisa quietly groaned because he was clearly extremely unsatisfied with Kai's reaction.

Yin Shan used the back of her hand to wipe her tears before she sniffled and loudly said, "l'm in love with you! That's the reason!"

Kai, "..."

"I've been in love with you for a long time! I was just too afraid to say it because I was worried that you'd get angry and ignore me... You're a godlike being who's more than just a mere man in my heart!

"But how could a decent man like you fall in love with a married woman? She's even the wife of your closest friend..."

Yin Shan glanced at Lisa when she spoke but the man's sinister gaze was fixed on Kai while a cold and gloomy breath drifted out of the corners of his mouth.

Kai's face turned blank. Disappointed, he sat on the sofa and took another cigarette out of his pocket. His hand faintly trembled before he forcefully calmed himself down and lit up the cigarette.

He placed it at the corner of his mouth and angrily inhaled two puffs. Kai was at a loss. Were his innermost thoughts so easily revealed?

Yin Shan had immediately guessed his intentions.

If Yin Shan could tell, did Jennie know as well?

When he thought of Jennie, Kai's heart seemed to ache for no reason.

There was only one woman in the world who could affect him like this but he had no right to be concerned about her.

According to understanding of Lisa, Jennie would probably be the one who suffered if Lisa had misunderstood his relationship with Jennie.

He could be slandered but that did not apply to Jennie.

Kai smoked for awhile while his eyes turned redder. He lowered his hoarse voice and said, "Yin Shan, these are merely your assumptions..."

When she saw that a handsome and resolute man like Kai had also revealed his dejected and timid side now, Yin Shan knew that he was not lying because he was afraid of Lisa but because his heart still wanted to protect Jennie.

Yin Shan grimaced and gritted her teeth before she hung her head and continued, "I didn't make these assumptions out of thin air! A woman's intuition is very accurate. There was something strange about the way you looked at her...

"I've been by your side for several years but you've never sent a woman flowers! In the language of flowers, the daisies that you gave her meant that you would show your love by quietly guarding her...

"A proud man like you chose to long for her from afar but you couldn't stop yourself from falling in love with her! If Young Master Manoban was not wedged between you, wouldn't you have chosen her and pursued her without holding back?" Yirn Shan furiously glanced at Lisa when she spoke as if she wanted to prove that she had not merely exposed this secret for her own sake.

Kai remained silent when he heard this. He lowered his head and continued to smoke.

Lisa did not move from his original spot when he sneered as he looked at this arrogant female secretary. Had she not attempted to manipulate him before this?

Kai only raised his head when he had almost finished puffing his cigarette before he said to Lisa, "Lalisa, I only met Jennie to talk about some normal things, nothing else! I wouldn't lie to you
if something happerned between us but you can choose not to believe me. However, you must believe Jennie because she's madly in love with you!"

Kai gaze flickered when he spoke, revealing an indescribable pain.

Lisa lowered his head while his gaze lingered on the side of Kai's face for a long time as he fell into deep thought.

When he received news from Yan Jun that the person who sent the pictures was Kai's female secretary, Lisa had already known that he had probably been fooled.

This woman had made it obvious when she was captured. Since she was in love with Kai, she became jealous when she saw that Kai had set his heart on Jennie.

She secretly took these photos because she initially assumed that Lisa would control his wife. Conversely, she had never imagined that she would nearly bring a fatal disaster upon herself.

However, the love bites on Jennie's neck were real.

Thus, Lisa had linked both of these two incidents and concluded that the person who violated Jennie was Kai.

During this confrontation, Kai's secretary would not have only sent those two ambiguous pictures if she really had proof of them fooling around.
Moreover, she would not be behaving in a secretive manner during the critical moments of this vicious argument.
