Fallon
"Okay you're going to be mad at me but damn you look good." Josiah said, looking me over.
"What?" I asked looking over my sunglasses.
"Do a little twirl for me first and I'll spill it." He said. Doing as instructed, I flipped my freshly done hair."Now tell me." I demanded with my hands on my hips.
"You may have slightly overdressed but that's completely on me for not telling you where I was taking you." He said biting his lips.
"Where we going Josiah?" I asked.
"It's still a surprise, and you still look great. And I will gladly help you take that off if you feel uncomfortable." He flirted.
"Just tell me." I whined.
"We are almost there." He said linking his hands with mine as we walked the block. Parking in Houston was nearly impossible. You could find parking and still have to walk a block just to get where you were going.Approaching the building I stopped.
"No we can't. Let's just get something to eat instead." I said.
"Relax baby. I just wanted you to loosen up some. Have some fun." He said. "We'll be in and out, then we can go wherever you'd like." He pleaded.
"Fine but in and out please." I begged.
"Anything you want." He said as we walked towards the building. I said a light prayer, before looking at the big sign above me.***
We were playing the basketball game and Josiah was beating my ass.
"You're literally cheating. This is what you do." I said giving up.
"I'm sorry baby, let's play something else. Wanna get on the motorcycle?"
"Oooh yes." I said as we walked to the motorcycle. Climbing on top I straddled the motorcycle.
"Damn Fallon." He said looking at me biting his lip.
"You know I was thinking the exact same thing." Floated over our shoulders."Amari." I said feeling slightly nervous.
"I wasn't expecting to see you here." He said looking at me then looking at Josiah who wasn't at all bothered by his presence. That's what I liked about him, he was a real chill guy.
"I wasn't expecting to see you either." I said honestly.
"Babe who is this?" A white girl asked approaching us. Looking between all of us.
Babe?
"Uh this is my uh friend Fallon... and--"He looked at Josiah as his jaw clenched.
"My date Josiah." I said.
"Your date?" Amari asked.
"That's what she said." Josiah intervened.
"Oh well it was nice to meet y'all." The white girl spoke. "Come on babe we're going to be late for our dinner reservations." She said walking off.
"Fallon." He turned to me ready to explain but I fanned him off. Here he was about to ride me for being here with another man, and was on a whole date himself. Niggas ain't shit.
"Go on. Don't wanna be late for your dinner reservations. And if you don't mind, I was actually on a date before you interrupted." I spoke.Walking away, I returned my attention to Josiah.
"I'm sorry about that." I sincerely apologized.
"It's all good, as long as no more of your boyfriends interrupts up." He joked.
"He wasn't my boyfriend."
"You know what I mean. But we good love. I'm good." He said kissing my cheek.Just as we were about to continue the motorcycle game, there was a tugging on my dress.
"Hey Ms. Smith I didn't know you were coming here too." Trey said gaining my attention.
"Me either." I said lowly.
"My uncle brought me!" He said excitedly pointing to Rylan who stood off in the distance with a pretty light skin girl. "And his girlfriend Averi."
"Oh that's so nice." I said, as Rylan gave me a head nod. "Well you go back to having fun, I'll see you Monday." I smiled at Trey.
"Okay." He said before running back to his uncle.
"Damn you like them young Fal." Josiah joked.
"Shut up, he's my student. And it's time we leave." I said ready to leave this place before I saw someone else I knew.
"I was just going to say, we actually have dinner reservations to catch also. I'm ready if you are." He said extending his hand to me.***
We sat at dinner, Josiah stared at me.
"What?" I asked, taking a sip of my lemon drop.
"Nothing, I just think you're beautiful Fallon." He said.
"Thank you." I blushed.
"You'd look even more beautiful in Austin with my jersey on." He said.
"I wish, but Austin ain't around the corner. That's a three hour drive. And I work five days a week." I whined.
"I'm not worth it?" He asked looking at me with low eyes.
"You definitely are, but you haven't actually extended an offer." I said smirking at him.
"Come on now Fallon. You know you're welcome up there with me anytime."
"I wouldn't want to just pop up. You may have company."
He chuckled.
"Just ask me what you wanna ask me." He urged.
"I don't want to ask anything." I assured.
"So you don't wanna know if I gotta girl in Austin?"
"No I didn't."
"Well if you did want to know, the answer would be no."
"Good to know." I said taking another sip.
"So what's stopping you from coming now?" He asked.
"Honestly?" I asked.
"Honestly."
"I'm not having sex Josiah. And I don't wanna get your hopes up to think I am, cus I'm not. I do like you, and I love your company. But let's just be real, we're both grown here. If I'm not putting out, what do I have to offer you?" I asked.
Silence fell between us.
"This. Your time. Do you know how valuable time is? And you took time out your busy schedule to spend it with me. I can't ask for much. And I'll never put pressure on you, when you're ready... I'll be waiting on you at the door." He joked, causing me to laugh."But nah in all seriousness, I just enjoy you Fallon. No need for the pressure of titles, or expectations cus I'm good and we're good. I'm ready and willing to move at whatever pace you want to."
"I appreciate that." I said smiling at him.Hey guys I am back with ANOTHER banger! A whole new group of characters to learn and love. And on a completely different spectrum from the old group.
