Fallon
"How about this?" I asked doing a turn.
"Mmmm maybe try something black, because when Rylan catches you he is going to murder you." Jon said twisting his lips sitting on the bench that was at the end of our bed.
"I agree with him for once Fallon. This is not a good idea." Kb added.
"Hoe I don't need you to agree. She knows what I'm saying is true." Jon said.
"I told you earlier that it was a bad idea." Sevyn said rubbing her stomach.
"Look I will be gone an hour tops. And as soon as I get home I will tell Rylan. But I'm only going to see what he can do to play basketball once he gets out." I explained for the umpteenth time to them.
"Girl then let him go with you, I don't trust Josiah." Jon said.
"Oh my gosh. Get out. Come on, y'all gotta go." I said grabbing them pulling them out the bedroom door.
"Why we gotta leave?" Kb asked.
"Because when I get home, I'm going to spread my pussy from A to Z for my man and y'all can't be here." I said.
"Ew bitch." Sevyn said.
"Right. I hope he walk in right now and catch your hoe ass tryna sneak out and cheat on him." Jon said.
"Come correct boo, I am not cheating on my man. I absolutely would never." I said, as we got to the front door. Leaving out I locked it behind me. Pulling me into a tight hug, Jon was literally suffocating me.
"Fallon you been my best friend since second grade. I love you and it was a pleasure knowing you. I will give a beautiful eulogy friend. Don't you worry." He said.
"Get your ass off of me." I said pushing him off. Rolling my eyes I got in my car, pushing the button to start it up before making my way to the restaurant.***
Walking into the empty restaurant I was a little surprised how empty it was finding Josiah at a candlelit table.
"A bit much for a harmless dinner." I said as he pulled my chair out for me. Taking a seat.
"Not at all, only the best for the best." He said taking a sip of his wine.
"Why is it so empty in here?" I asked.
"I wanted a private dinner so we could really talk. It's been a while." He said as the server brought our food covered. Setting it in front of me, he uncovered it. Pouring me a glass of wine.
The food looked amazing but that's really not what I came here for.
"So I really was curious about something?" I asked him.
"Shoot." He said.
"My fiancé loves basketball but he never went to college. And he's interested in playing again but doesn't think he can go pro, and doesn't want to go to school to play at a collegiate level. So what are his options?" I asked.
"Your fiancé huh? That's wild Fallon I wasn't expecting that. You really loved that nigga huh?" He asked.
"Yes I do love him." I said.
"So why even waste time being with me if he was who you wanted all that time?" He asked eating his food.
"At a time I did want you Josiah. But Rylan just... he had my heart. And I'm sorry I couldn't admit that sooner."I said and he nodded.
"So why should I help you set up his future for him when he robbed me of mine?" He asked.
"Excuse me?" I asked.
"You heard me. That ring, that house, all that shit he got you. I was working on that Fallon, you just couldn't be patient."
"You asked me to choose and I did." I said.
"Well unfortunately Fallon, I don't know what he could to fulfill a basketball career at this point. You just better hope he lives to see the future." He said sinisterly.
"Excuse me?" I asked and my heart rate increased.
"Even hit men die Fallon." He said smiling.
"How do you know that?" I asked sliding away from the table and standing to my feet nervously. Bumping into a hard chest I jumped turning around coming face to face with Rico and Fabian who looked upset to see me."You really shouldn't be here, but since you are. Feel free to join us for dinner." He said looking at them.
"What are y'all doing here?" I stuttered looking at my brothers.
"You really shouldn't be here Fallon." Rico said.
"Where's Rylan?" I asked nervously.
"Probably on the roof. That's his go to. But it's okay he's not the only one. I figured he wouldn't be so quick to kill if his beautiful fiancé was in the room." He said smiling at me.
I don't know how I had manage to get myself in this but I felt the walls closing in on me. I didn't know how any of us were going to get out of this.Rylan
Me and Isabella set up our snipers in an abandoned building across from the restaraunt. On the same floor that they were meeting which would give me a clear shot.
"How did you know to not go to the roof?" Bella asked setting up.
"Any nigga with a bounty on my head, has done his research on me. He would have known that's where I was going. The roof gives anybody a clear head shot. But I want this nigga to suffer. All of his men are going to go to the roof looking for me because more than anything he wants me dead. He don't give a fuck about that territory. He knew I wasn't going to let Fabe and Rico come by themselves. He knew he could get to me this way. But while his men are looking for me up there he's unprotected. And he will die." I said.
"Damn Ry you are smart as shit." She said.
"You see that door right there."I said pointing to a door in the room. "It takes us to a walkway, that will give me immediate access to the dining area they are in. And I'm going to finish him. Because to me, it is personal." I said.Getting in the perfect position on the floor. I set the lens up, moving it around trying to find this nigga. Turning my walkie on.
"Y'all boys good?" I asked.
"Yeah we headed in now, just put your eyes in the sky boy. We got this." Rico said.
Trying to focus the lens on my sniper, it was blurry at first until the infrared went off letting me know it had located his body temperature. Directing it to that area, I adjusted the lens focusing in.But to my surprise he wasn't alone.
I always preached to Bella keep her feelings out of this shit, stay focused. But right now I was a hypocrite. My heart ached, and more than anything I wanted to light the whole room up. Fuck the signature, fuck the territory. Why the fuck was my fiancé sitting across from a nigga who wanted me dead?
He had won. This nigga had really done his research. My technique didn't matter to him. My location of choice was irrelevant at this point. Because he had my heart in human form sitting across from him, and he had won.
