Rylan

Sitting outside of the house, me and Bella were suppose to be smoking but I was the only one smoking.
"What's going on with you man?" I asked her she had been quiet all day and that wasn't like her. She looked at me then back out the window towards Rico's house.
"How would you feel if Fallon had to sit by and watch you prepare to leave without knowing when you were leaving and when you were coming back?" She asked.
"I'm confused. This is about me and Fallon? Cus what I'm doing is for the best. I thought I told y'all I was tired of explaining myself." I said annoyed.
"No it's not about y'all. I was just giving you an example."
"Well kill the examples and just say what it is." I said, taking a pull from the blunt.
"I'm literally forced to sit here and watch while Fabian sets up his whole life, when there is so much uncertainty about his future." She said.
"Ah I see. You want my boy." I said chuckling. I was high.
"No I don't want him. I had him. And he's my sons father. And now when the time is perfect to even introduce the idea to Canyon, he's about to leave."
"You act like it's his fault that he's leaving. The state of Texas is building a case against him Bella. The fact that they ain't booked him yet let's me know that they trying to take him down for all this shit. Why you ain't been said nothing?" I asked.
"Because there was so many distractions!" She said getting loud. Clearly this shit was fucking with her. "He's not even doing anything to fight it."
"But he is. He's investing all this drug money into businesses that will continue to thrive whiles he's away. He just trying to make sure none of this shit comes back on us. And that us is including you in your son." I reminded her. "I say you use this time and make the best of it. Tell him how you feel, what's the worse that can happen? He not love you back?" I asked.
"You should practice what you preach." She said nodding towards the front door, as Fallon, Fabian and Rico came outside. Sighing Fallon approached my window. Letting it down she fanned the smoke out of her face, and I realized she was crying.

"If what you wanted to talk to me about was you stepping in my brothers place, save it. I don't want to hear it." She said walking past my car, heading towards hers. Jumping out I followed her stopping her door before she could close it.
"Where you going? Slow down." I said because she was clearly upset, and I was tired of shit going like this for us.
"No Rylan. You have done everything in your power to push me away, and maybe I have too but this is the cherry on top of the damn cake." She said, shaking her head.
"Stop letting your conversation with your brother get you so upset. You have every right to be sad about your brother leaving but you're angry with me and we ain't even had a conversation yet." I said smiling but she wasn't amused and definitely not going for it.
"You think I'm dumb? I know you Rylan. I know you better than I probably know myself. So go ahead say it. You can't be with me because you're stepping up in your position. You don't want to drag me along. And whatever the fuck else." She said turning her car on.
"So I'm wrong for wanting the best for you? For wanting you to be safe and live a normal life." I asked.
Getting out the car she slammed the door behind her. Pointing at me tears streamed down her face.
"You don't get to make that decision for me. I let you make it once and you left me for nine years. Nine years Rylan!" She cried pointing in my chest.
"I'm not doing any of this to hurt you Fallon." I said pulling her to me but she pushed me off.
"So tell me I'm lying, tell me that's not what you were going to say to me. Tell me." She said and I just shook my head.
"I was. But I was hoping you wouldn't fight me on it." I said lowly.
"You know what I'm not. You did it once, I came back. You're doing it again, and I get it. After all this, and everything we've gone through, you're okay with letting it go because every decision you make it right and you live with no regrets." She said sarcastically nodding as if she understood but by her words she had it all confused.
"It's okay. I get it." She said once again getting in her car.
"Where are you going?" I asked her.
"We're done right? You're calling all the shots. So I'm going to the house and getting the things that I left there while I was holding onto hope. Cus I have no more."
"So you moving out?" I asked. Personally she was being dramatic. How could we even call this a serious conversation when we're literally talking outside of my brothers house.
"Figure it out Rylan." She said putting the car in reverse. Watching as she backed out the driveway, apart of me didn't want us to be on these terms. But with us it was either all good or absolutely horrible.

Shrugging, I headed up the driveway towards the front door.
"You just gone keep messing up. When are you going to learn?" Sevyn asked with her arms crossed over her stomach.
"What are you talking about? When we were together all I ever heard was how worried she was about me. And how badly she wanted me to get out. I can't get out." I said throwing my hands up.
"Nigga are you dumb?" Rico asked.
"When it comes to Fallon he is." Isabella added.
"Fallon will go to the ends of this earth to be with you. After all the time y'all have spent apart, over the years and even recently can't you see that, she is willing to make that sacrifice just to be with you. And you're literally just letting her walk away." Sevyn said. As they all looked at me like I was the crazy one.
