Fallon

I smiled watching my grandma mix and mingle with her loved ones. She really seemed to be enjoying herself.

"Y'all out here really cali living and bitch, I'm jealous." Jon said gaining my attention.

"You know that you are more than welcome to come stay with me and Ry anytime you'd like. And when the baby gets here, we'll need all the help we can get." I said smiling.
"In house baby sitter." He said like he was really thinking. "Well my minimum wage is $1000." He said seriously.
"Chile boo, now I know you're delusional." I said and Sevyn laughed.
"I ain't even gone extend the invitation but if you ready to make that move I'll buy you a house." Sevyn said.
"Damn so you'll buy me a house; but I can't come visit you at yours? Ain't that some shit. Keep that energy when Syx learns to walk and you need a break." He said fanning us off.
"Tell Uncle Jon you can come keep me anytime you want." Sevyn said in a baby voice holding Syx up. Looking at Jon with a serious face, he bust out in a smile. Jon was Syx's favorite person, next to his uncle Rylan. I don't know what it was about Syx but he didn't fool with many. And the two that he adored were both batshit crazy.

Which caused me to avert my attention to Rylan. Noticing he looked on edge I frowned. He talked to Rico, and held a scowl on his face. Just as I went to approach him, I heard my name being called. Turning around I smiled.

"Hey mamí." She greeted as we embraced.
"My Bella. I didn't think you would make it." I said.

Although we had all just about moved to Cali, Isabella and Canyon stayed back to stay close to Fabian.
"I wouldn't miss abuelas birthday. And Fabian insisted we come and spend the weekend." She said.
"Where is Can Man?" I asked. Pointing to him he already sat close to Trey playing on the iPad. Causing me to smile.
"You're growing so much. Have y'all found out if it's a boy or girl? I want to get you some gifts before we head back to Houston." She said rubbing my belly.
"No we're still waiting til the birth. But we're getting closer so I'm excited." I said.
"Where is mean ass?" She asked. Pointing to the men's table this gave me an excuse to get over there.
"Let me speak." She said as we linked arms heading over there. The conversation ceased abruptly as we approached the table causing me to raise an eyebrow.
"What's up fathead?" Rico greeted Bella. Rylan stared a whole in my face pulling me into his lap.
"What's wrong with you?" I asked playing in his beard.
"Nothing. I'm straight." He said rubbing my belly.
"You seem upset." I pushed.
"I'm good." He said.
Nodding I let it go.

Seeing Redd and Ace make eye contact with Ry, before suddenly getting up from the table. I felt a type of way. It was some secretive ass shit going on around here.
"Did you eat?" Rylan asked me.
"Not yet, I was waiting on yall to finish y'all's conversation but clearly it was never coming to an end." I said.
"Oh well let's eat then." He said helping me up as we joined the table with Sevyn and Jon again.
"Go head and make your plate. I'll be right back." He said. Watching him to my surprise he went out the door right after Ace and Redd.
"Mm Mm I know what you're thinking. Let him handle his grown man business." Jon said.
"He's my husband so he's my business." I said standing up also.
"Where you going?" Bella asked stopping me.
"To see what the hell is going on. And if I didn't know any better I'd say you were trying to distract me. Get out of my way." I said but with each step I took she took one too.
"Are you really about to do this?" I asked with my hands on my hips.
"I don't know what you're talking about." She challenged.

Rylan

I stood watch as Ace and Redd, moved the shipment into the back of the work Escalade.
"See I told you it would be a smooth transition." Ace said.
"Man shut the fuck up. It shouldn't have gotten this close to begin with." I said.
"It's all good. We gone get this shit out of here, and you can go back to being a happy husband home maker." Redd said just as they finished the last of the product. I would have helped so it could move quicker. But I couldn't risk getting that on my clothes and Fallon being anywhere near it.
"What shit is that Redd?" Came from behind us. Turning around Fallon stood looking at me with an angry look and Bella right behind her.
"Uh ummmm." Redd stuttered.
"You lied to me." She said approaching me.
"I didn't lie." I said trying to grab her wrist but she snatched it away from me. "Baby."
"No Rylan. You told me that this was a safe place, and yet you brought that shit here!" She yelled.
"You gotta calm down. The baby." I reminded.
"How about you don't worry about me and my unborn? Cus clearly you weren't thinking about us when you brought this bullshit in here." She said shaking her head attempting to walk away but I stopped her.
"What do you mean? What are you saying right now? Everything I do is for y'all. This ain't on me." I said.
"No actually it is on you Rylan. You just had to step in my brothers place huh? You had to take on the responsibility of his empire. I hope that's working out for you." She said walking away again. But once again I grabbed her arm this time more forcefully.
"Stop talking to me like that. And stop walking away from me. You knew what it was when you married me. I'm telling you that this is not on me and what you don't believe me? Baby im so sorry that it went down like this but on Allah I didn't lie to you." I said pleading with my whole heart.
"Whatever you say." She said wiping her own tears walking away this time.

Looking at Bella she bucked her eyes at me, holding her arms in a questioning form.
"Six months pregnant Rylan. Really?" She asked.
Before I could say anything else she turned and went behind Fallon. Turning to face Redd and Ace they stood looking dumbfounded.
"I guess this would be a bad time to tell her, the police are probably building a case against you huh?" Ace asked. Pulling my gun off my waistband, I pointed it at him.
"If I ever hear you say those words again, I won't hesitate to shoot you." I said. "Now get this shit out of here." I said lowering my gun.
