Rylan
One week later.
"Nigga where the fuck were you !?" Fabian screamed like the bitch he was acting like.
"Handling business." I said shrugging.
"And you been with this nigga? What the fuck y'all got going!?" He yelled pointing between me and Bella.
"Bruh calm down. He said he was handling business. Tell him what you got to tell him so we can send him on his way." Rico said.
"Nah somebody better start speaking the fuck up. Now!" He yelled which clearly spooked Bella but I wasn't moved. Bella went to speak but I held my hand up.
"What you can't speak unless this nigga say so?" Fabian asked her standing to his feet. So I stood to mine.
I hated Isabella when this shit started out. But she had become like my little prodigy since then. We were a lot more similar then I knew. She was focused on building a life for her and her son, similarly to what I was trying to do for Fallon. She didn't want to be a hit man, she wanted to be the best. Even if she was a banker she told me, she was going to be the best at it. Ever since all this shit unfolded with Averi, Gia, and Nala she had been with me ever since. I kept Rico out of it because I knew when it got down to it, he wouldn't be able to kill Gia. Same for Fabian with Nala. But the difference was Rico knew the time was coming, that's why he was building his life with Sevyn and acclimating her to being a mother to not just one of his kids but two. She was adjusting well. Meanwhile Fabian was deep in this drug business, he hadn't even noticed anybody around him was moving differently, especially Nala.
"Man I'm not doing this bullshit." He said as we stood face to face. "You knew how important this meeting was, and you couldn't be bothered to be present. And now you dragging my workers along with you." He said side eyeing Isabella.
"Fabe fuck this empire. I been trying to get out this shit and you been dragging me deeper. You forced my hand. I'm stepping the fuck down. The business I've been handling is to protect your sister something you might want to be concerned about. But since you're not, keep focusing on this bullshit. And when bodies start falling around you, I don't want to hear shit from you." I said. And he looked confused. Walking out the door of the trap, Isabella followed behind me.
"I'll see you when night falls. I'm going to check on Fallon." Isabella said getting in her car.
"Bet. Call me." I said and she nodded.
Going our separate ways I shook my head. When I was done dropping Gia and Nala, I was done with this shit for good. It was turning my whole life upside down. I lost Fallon. I felt like I was losing Fabian as a brother. I was even losing peace of mind.

"Why he gotta come at me like that? Everything I'm doing is for him and my sister. He acting real ungrateful. And furthermore he acting like I'm a snake, and I ain't never been that." Fabian spoke as he paced the floor.
"I can't lie my nigga, before this past week I thought you were too. It wasn't until this trip to Mexico I finally realized what was going on." I admitted.
"I never been a snake! I ride for y'all niggas just like y'all ride for me! Just cus I ain't kidnapping niggas and beating them to a bloody pulp like you do. Or shooting niggas from the sky, burning niggas alive and all the other crazy ass shit Ry do, don't mean I ain't riding for y'all!" He yelled and I could tell that he was frustrated. "You think I was pressed to have that territory in Austin!? I set up that deal as soon as I found out it was Josiah's! I knew he would want his head so I set up the business end so he could do his shit, and what the fuck have I got from that nigga in return?!" He yelled. I laughed. These niggas were like two bitches. But they were just brothers who loved the shit out of each other. Rylan just didn't show it the same way Fabian did, he was different.
"But Fabe, ever since that deal Rylan been exposed to more shady shit and more than anything he need us to have his back right now." I explained.
"And I got his back like a motherfuckering backpack my nigga! But business is business. If he fucks this is up, he fucking it up for everybody." He said, clapping his hands.
"Nigga he don't even want this shit. He want out and you doing all this for what?" I asked.
"Because if this shit ever backfire; if I ever get to feeling like I'm untouchable and it catch up with me, I don't want this shit falling back on yall! That's why every business account, transaction, flight to Mexico or wherever else is in my name! If they come for anybody it'll be me. All I want that nigga focused on is my sister and starting his life over. I'm not trying to burden him. But if I don't know anything else, I know Rylan gone make sure shit go right in case anything happens to me. That's why I'm doing this." He said.
"And he would do that for you because he's loyal but it's some shit right now going on that if he don't feel like you got his back he gone feel like you in his way." I said honestly.
I was indifferent to it myself because at the end of the day Gia was my sons mother. And I didn't want to have to explain to him that his uncle was going to kill his mom because she was a snake so I was staying out of it and keeping Trey out of it. I knew if I even acted like I was bothered by the shit Rylan would feel I didn't have his back on it, and that wasn't the case at all. I was my brothers keeper until the death of me, and I was going to let him do what he had to do.
"Shit like what Rico? Stop talking in code to me. Ry ain't fucking with me, and he turning Bella against me. It better be a damn good reason." He said sitting down.
Looking at him I was hesitant to say anything. I feared that if he got in Rylan's way when it came to off'ing Nala, he might not get spared. And I didn't want that on Rylan's conscious.
"Say it nigga." Fabe pushed.
"Ry is going to off Nala and Gia." I said watching his reaction to see if I had made a mistake. He didn't seem surprised or even bothered by what I said which actually made me curious.
"So he killed Averi?" He asked. And I nodded.
"Yeah, and they all in connection so he not sparing none of them." I said.
Fabian nodded.
"You ain't got nothing to say?" I asked.
"I've been setting up this empire to stand alone without me, with the support of you and Ry of course. But do you know why?" He asked.
"Nah I just thought you had a hit on your head we ain't know about." I said shrugging.
"I knew Nala was a snake. As soon as I found out about Josiah's territory shit started to reveal itself and I've been working to set shit up because I want her head." He said.
"You said what now?" I asked surprised.
"I want her head, and if I go down for killing Nala I don't want it to fall back on y'all." He said. And I almost couldn't believe it. He knew everything and he was moving in silence like a boss was supposed to do.
"You and Rylan need to talk." I said. And he nodded.
"I agree." He said.
