"Thank you, you too Rashad." I said smiling. I decided to step out after my argument with stupid, and as we were pulling up Rashad spotted me. And I had to admit he looked damn good. But my heart still wouldn't let me cross that threshold. Even though I was angry when I left I wanted nothing more than to get back home, and cuddle under him. "Hush." I said to them. "So you finally got you a man?" He asked. "I couldve have always had one. Some niggas just ain't worth settling for." I said side eyeing him. "Preach." Jon said. "Oh damn I wasn't worth it?" He asked. "Ask your baby mother." I said as we entered the club.
Nodding to the music it was jumping in here. "I need a drink after the day I had." Sevyn said. "Who you telling?" I added as we stepped to the bar. "Yall hoes holding out." Jon said stepping beside us. "Can I have a crown apple and lemonade?" Sevyn asked the bartender ignoring Jon. "No we're not. We just can't talk about it right now." I said looking at Rashad who spoke to some of his friends passing by. "Mmhm. I'll take Tequila sunrise." Jon ordered. "Can I have a Hurricane?" I ordered.
Getting out drinks we sipped. "I know you said later but I'm itching to know." Jon said. Rolling my eyes I looked at him. "I went on a lunch date with Landon, and saw Rylan and Rico, out with Averi and Gia."I said. "Like on a date too?" He asked. "Yup. And all Rico could say was they needed closure." Sevyn said and I looked at her. Cus I didn't even know that. "So what happened?" Jon asked chugging his drink. "We went home, argued and now we're here." I said shrugging. "I know how spiteful you get when you're angry Fal. What did you say?" Jon asked. "I told him to do him. And reminded him that I could fuck niggas too. " "But why would say that? When you know you don't want him dealing with anyone else."
"What y'all talking about? It's too lit in here for all the counseling." Rashad said joining us. "If we were counseling her, she wouldn't be standing here entertaining you." Sevyn said rolling her eyes. Taking Jon's hand they stepped away briefly. "Why they hate me?" He asked me. "Cus of how you did me in college." I said honestly. "I didn't do you any kind of way. You wanted something on a more serious level than what I was able to offer at the time. I've been trying to run it back for years now." "Well im different now." "Apparently. Gotta a nigga and shit now. But if he were making you happy would you be in this club talking to me right now." "Uh Rashad. He does make me happy. Im talking to you because I was trying not to be rude, but clearly that can't be so enjoy your night." I said joining my friends. "Bet you wish you had stayed home with that fine man now." Jon said. And I couldn't help but agree but I was out now. So I was going to make the best of it. Letting the music take over, I began dancing with my friends.

As I found Averi laying on the couch crying. "You gotta get yourself together Averi. I promise I'm not worth your tears." I said sitting down next to her. So shit just happened and I had to act on it before it was too late, and Averi got caught up in the mix. "Can I just have this?" She asked climbing on my lap. Tempted to move her I thought about what Fallon said. She said she was doing her, and there was no telling what that consisted of. So I was gonna do me.
