The Bomb

hey, so my parents said my dog wouldn't be happy with the hamster in the house but he is chilling  like 5 feet away from Jade. Granted Jade is in a cage and on a dresser but still. Anyways Enjoy!

When Miles left he went back to the lab, he got the bomb scraps and laid them on the table and pulled the hologram of the bomb in the glider. He kept looking between them. Different pattern and if he wasn't mistaken the bomb scraps would form a bigger bomb. If he had Karen or Friday pull up the scraps in the holoscreen and take what they have and make a sphere it would be bigger. 

But where in the hell did the light come from. That's what he was wondering. He knew this bomb was Goblin's or a copy cat. But where did it come from. He sighed, it was too late for this. He put the scraps back and took down the holoscreen. 

He took his suit off and he relished in the fact he didn't have to hide it. He threw it on his chair and flopped onto bed. 

He woke up groggy, he looked to his alarm clock 6:42 am. Too early but he had to get ready for school. He grabbed he bag in the corner and stuffs his suit under the fake bottom and he was off. He did stop by the kitchen to grab some food. 

"Good morning" Nat's voice broke the silence. He smiled. 

"Mornin" He said as he got a slice of bread and popped it in the toaster. 

"So I've heard from a loud snarky bird that you know the identity of your partner" Nat said bringing the mug to her lips. He chuckled. 

"Did said snarky bird mention me tossing him?" He asked as he opened his fridge. 

"No I don't recall, mind catching me up?" Nat asked. 

"Gladly" He said. Then the toast popped up. He grabbed it and grabbed the jam he got from the fridge and sat across Nat.

He spread his jam on his toast as he recalled him carrying Tony. It earned him a chuckle. Nice way to start his day. 

"Friday do you have footage?" Nat asked Friday as he was finishing his toast. 

"Boss deleted it but Karen archived it" Friday said. 

"Karen can you send the video to us?" He asked. 

"Of course" Karen said with a smug tone. 

"Thanks" He said. Then he looked at his phone. it was a little past 7 so he got up and headed for the elevator. 

"I can drive you to school" Nat said getting up not waiting for a response. He went with it.

"Thanks for the drive!" He thanked her and got out. He gave a small wave and headed inside. He got to his locker and got some stuff for his classes and then went to the wall the bomb hit. There were many students surrounding it. He saw it was blocked off and covered by a sheet. You could still see a little scorch marks at the edges. The cafeteria was closed. Then a hand spun him around and it was Miles. 

"Hey dude" Miles greeted and they got out of the crowd to talk quick. 

"So I see they're taking care of it" He commented looking back. 

"Yeah and I even overheard that the first bomb somehow caused some kind of shortage that wrecked the cameras. It didn't touch a single camera so the bombs can do much more than explode." Miles said hushed.
