There they sat in the tower upbove. There was laughing, shouting, and music down below and nonstop fireworks lighting up the night sky.
He let Fury know he's in position so now they were anxiously waiting.
Ned
The show was great, really it was but he couldn't relax, like at all.
Just knowing soon a raging fire monster was going to attack the city soon. He was sweating. He was practically flooding in his suit. But he trusted Peter, Peter said to stay here and they'll be safe. Just have to stay here and wait for any kind of warning or alarm.
That little plan in his head all went to shit as flash huffed and snuck to the exit.
"Is he going to the festival? We should go!" Betty whispered to him and when he saw the look on her face he couldn't argue.
Betty pulled him along through the crowds. Her eyes lit up seeing the small ferris wheel.
"We can get away from the crowds and noise and you'll feel better." Betty said cheerfully.

She noticed Flash horribly sneaking out then Ned and Betty just waltz out. She glances back at the stage to gain compusre, then she was swinging her legs out into the aisle and striding after Ned and Betty.
She was glad she didn't pack some large flashy dress, mainly because she didn't own dresses like that, but also practicality. If she needed things done, an obnoxious dress would be a nuisance. She was stalking Ned and Betty until they came across a large area with a miniature ferris wheel.
She walked more to the front center where a staute stood. Ned and Betty weren't going anywhere on the ferris wheel so she looked around.
She didn't see anything strange so she turned to the statute. Nothing seemed off but her eyes caught a faint orange glow illuminating the statue from below. Probably lights, after all this was festival of lights.
But the orange glow grew more vibrant and then a slick magma snake like form wrapped around the statue and she didn't need any more reason to start running.
Peter
He didn't notice anything until a statute was crushed and the fire elemental rose above the statue's ruins. The monster was the size of a building.
"Its here!" He informed Beck.
He leaped down and crawled to a building to the side. Beck was shooting the monster. He looked around for anything useful and he saw a fire hydrant. Perfect.
He webbed it and yanked. Water blasted up and hit the elemental. Doing so caused a giant steam cloud to cover the whole place.
He didn't even see a glow from the giant fire monster in the fog but his spidey sense told him to MOVE.
He leaped up and flipped over a magma fist that destroyed the wall he was on a second ago.
He landed on a carousel but then quickly jumped away as the fire elemental pursued him.
He tumbled a little before looking up and seeing the elemental consume the metal from the carousel. Damn it.
"Beck! He's got metal from the carousel!"
