Wrong Number, Right Family

Decathlon

This isn't the biggest chapter, it's more setting up for the rest of the book. Also have no idea how decathlon works or joining it so I'm just gonna have MJ be done with everything and since she's captain she just wants to remove Flash as fast as possible.

*Inhale* So, I came out to my mom...

And it went absolutely horribly. Shit happened and I keep looking back on the fight. I am happy with myself that I held my ground. I refused to be punished for my sexuality and I screamed that at the top of my lungs. But everything is pretty much settled now, we didn't leave the fight on a sour note. And I went to the movies with my bestfriend after the fight to watch "Venom let there be carnage" so that day wasn't the worst. 

I just wasn't in the best mental state to write at that time.

Miles

Today he was going to try to join the Decathlon team. His parents don't know about his other hobby and they wanted him to go out and use his brain. 

He knew they practiced after school ended so he decided he would just stay after and see if he can walk in and ask about the team and if he can join. 

After long hours of school the final bell of the day rang and everyone was rushing out. He stood idly by his locker. When most students were out he walked to the room he suspected they met. And they were there, lucky guess. He quietly walked in and was met with a neutral, almost bored look from the girl that was with Peter during lunch.

"Yes?" The girl asked crossing her arms. 

"I was thinking of joining the decathlon team?" He said caught off guard from her tone.

"Ok, well first you'll need to fill out some paper work, then we need to catch you up with the practice. We also need to test you to see if you'll be a back up or take a spot. I'm MJ and I'm the captain." MJ said going back to some papers on a table leaving him with the load of info.

MJ motioned for him to sit at the same table. 

"Do you understand how Decathlon works?" MJ asked sorting the papers. 

"Yeah, I got the basics." He replied

"Good, so you're prepared the dedication this takes?" MJ asked.

He nodded.

He watched the rest practice and while MJ was quizzing them he filled out what he could on the form.

Then somebody barges through the double doors. He looked up and froze when he saw who it was.

Peter.

Shiiiiiiiii-

He cracked his pencil by accident!

Damn, he liked the pencil.

So looking back to Peter.

"5th day in a row Puny Parker is late, soon not even kissing up to MJ will keep you in." Flash sneered as Peter took his seat.

"Flash I will drop you from your spot faster than your parents dropped you as a baby." MJ said firmly.

He sat there watching the team to get the basics down. But his gaze kept shifting to Peter, He was thinking how this would work. He already encountered Peter in suit so the spider sense shouldn't alert Peter he was Night out of suit. 

Some time passed and he was doing a little with the rest to show some of his skills. But all that was cut short. Both him and Peter turned in the direction of the cafeteria. Everyone else was confused but then a blast echoed in the empty halls erupting everyone into motion. Flash and others ran for the emergency exit while Peter MJ and him ran to check it out, cautiously of course. When they peeked their heads into the cafeteria right in the middle of the room was some fire and the floor was scorched. 

In a second they all saw some light behind them and when they turned a familiar bomb was heading right at them. Him and MJ were shoved out of the bombs path and he just a slight glimpse of webbing incase the bomb and then Peter leaped away. 

The explosion was definitely dulled by the web. He got up quick a looked at the wall the bomb had impacted. It was dark coal colored now and he could see little invisible strands of webbing floating in the air near the bomb. He took at step towards it.

"I don't think we should stay." Peter advised. He turned and they started walking even more cautiously out of the building. 

The bombs. They were the green goblin's bombs, he can bet Peter will recover the bomb as soon as he's out of sight. But the huge question was how there was the bomb but no Harry. There was light but he didn't see anything besides the bomb hurdling at them.

He almost groaned. Things always have to be difficult, nothing the same. Peter is going to take this up with Harry. But.... what if it wasn't Harry- Like this Harry. The machine Fisk had created must have had some side effects. It effected all of New York.

What else could happen?
