Andrew's POV

"Dude, where are you rushing off to?" Jeremy asks, stopping me in my tracks.

"I'm just going home, nothing much" I respond quickly.

"Oh, are you okay bro? Your face looks pink? Who's got you flustered like this my man?" he inquires once more.

"What are you talking about?" I ask, pretending to not know what he was referring to. Truth of the matter is, I've been like this since my encounter with Christian. Whenever his smile crosses my mind, my face starts heating up and my palms get sweaty...

"Dude, you're doing it again? Your face is getting red now. Is Olivia finally going to give you the good stuff?" he questions with a grin.

"No man, listen Jeremy, I have to go. I'll see you tomorrow" I say, already walking off to the car park.

"It's about damn time man, and I hope you know that I want details tomorrow Andrew!" he jokes.

See, my sex life with Olivia really wasn't a secret. She'd tell her girlfriends about how reluctant I was to go there with her, and that will soon spread like wildfire. Truth is, I feel really uncomfortable doing anything sexual with her. I can already imagine my parents scolding me about how sex before marriage is a sin, so I always ensured that things never got to that point.

As I walk out of the school, heading towards the parking lot, I cannot help but think about the state I left the house in. I haven't bothered cleaning the house, or washing the dishes since my parents left, so I knew the first thing I have to do when I arrive is at least tidy up.

Soon, I am standing outside my baby, my white Range Rover Evoque my parents got me for my 16th birthday. This car was my first love, and the love I have for it goes deeper than the ocean. I cringe at my thoughts, when did I become so sappy?

As I jump behind the wheel, and get the engine started, I can't help but think of him. It seems like he occupied my mind for pretty much the whole day. Damn that beautiful smile of his...I need to get ahold of myself.

I shake my head, so as to get rid of these crazy thoughts, before driving home.

As I look over the family room and the kitchen, I cannot help but be proud of the work I had done. This place looks spotless. Now, the only thing I need to do is text Christian my address.

"Where did I put my phone?" I mumble to myself. As if on cue, it starts ringing, upstairs. Oh, I forgot I put it in my backpack.

As I ascend the stairs I can't help but wonder who might be calling me. "Maybe my parents finally remembered that they have a son they left all alone" I say, laughing bitterly.

I enter the bedroom at the same time my phone stops ringing. I'll have to call whoever just called me back. I retrieve my cell from my backpack, only to see a missed call from my grandmother. "What has happened now?" I wonder, calling her back. After a few rings she answers.

"Hello Nana" I say sweetly.

"Hello Andrew, how are you?" she asks, and from her tired voice I could tell something was wrong.

"I'm alright. Is everything fine, Nana?" I question, already preparing myself for the worst.

"I wish I was calling on better terms Andrew" she says softly. "It's your grandpa."

"What happened to him Nana?" I express, feeling my heart beat hard against my chest.

"His condition. He's getting worse Andrew. I'm just calling to tell you that he wanted to see you" she says sniffling.
